Located on the first floor of a building right next to Exit A5 of Ginza Station, there’s “SONOKO CAFE”.
The interior of the restaurant is a calm space with a white theme. It’s easy to enter even when you are alone, and it seems that there are also many foreign customers.
This time, I ordered "Spicy Beef Curry".
The spices are quite prominent, but it's not too spicy.
The products from Retto are warmed in the store, topped with various ingredients, and then served. At home, you can enjoy the same dish.
Not only is the spiciness strong, but the flavor is also rich and has a slow, lingering umami. The beef cut into larger pieces is tender, and the fried vegetables served alongside are colorful and fragrant. Salads and beans are also included, making the presentation both attractive and nutritious.
The price is a bit high. The drinks are not included in the set, so an additional charge of around +500 yen is required.
This restaurant offers a wide range of menu items centered around vegetables, such as the "Vegetable Plate" that is suitable for vegetarians. Although not all dishes are vegan-friendly, it still provides options for those who prefer to avoid animal-based ingredients.
If you want to enjoy a healthy lunch in Ginza, especially if you prefer to eat plenty of vegetables, this restaurant is highly recommended. Next time, I would like to try the monthly changing plates as well.
The bathroom is on the second floor. The second floor serves as a lounge area for members.
Inside the store, there are also shops selling various products made with domestic wheat and other products that are carefully selected from domestic sources.
