Located in a prime location, just a short walk from Yū Station, “Bashō Gen’ei Nagoya Yū” is a renowned steak restaurant situated on the 5th floor of BINO Yū. This establishment combines the dedication to purchasing a whole Tōhoku beef with a luxurious atmosphere, making it a top-tier steak spot. I visited here for lunch and enjoyed a luxurious experience of grilling meat over an open fire.
The charm of Yamanashi beef cooked over charcoal fire
The Toyo beef, carefully roasted over a seven-lamp grill, emits a fragrant aroma. As it is cooked, the juices overflow from the meat, making it an exquisite dish.
Just like in the photos, colorful vegetables such as pumpkin, zucchini, and pepper are also cooked together. So, not only is it visually appealing, but the taste balance is also excellent.
Particularly impressive was the cut of meat where the red-flavored umami was clearly felt. The sweetness of the fat and the richness of the meat were perfectly balanced, creating a texture that melted in the mouth, causing me to smile involuntarily.
Satisfaction with the lunch set
Lunchtime menu prices range from 2,000 to 3,000 yen, allowing you to fully enjoy the Higashiyama beef.
It includes rice, side dishes, soup, and dessert, making it a highly cost-effective option.
It's a perfect place to relax in a private room, making it ideal for dates or social gatherings.
️ Service and Space
The staff's service is also very polite. Their advice on the degree of cooking and explanations about recommended dishes are just some of the delightful aspects of their care.
The interior of the restaurant has a calm atmosphere, and I don’t mind the smoke at all. It’s also a blessing that clothes don’t easily get stained with odors.
