Since we had to transfer from the Kintetsu train to a bus at Kintetsu Yaotou Station, we went to "Morimoto" for lunch, which we had been planning to visit since before.

“The lunch menu item ‘free additional rice’ has been suspended for a while,” was the announcement.
Given that the prices of these komats are so high, it's not really a choice.
I ordered the "large rice" for the "Mapo Tofu Lunch".

The rice is served in a mound on a regular tea bowl.
Mini vegetable salad, egg soup, and additional seasonings are also included.
マポーデスツーデーは、とろみが強めに設定されているため、ランチタイムには最適ですよね(*^^*)
It pairs perfectly with white rice!
The spiciness is a bit strong, but it's not that extreme.
Since there are no condiments on the tabletop, I can't enhance the spiciness.
Since it's lunchtime, I prefer the mutton-based mapo tofu over others. (#^.^#)
Those who want to eat a lot of white rice may prefer "extra rice" instead of the standard "large rice portion". Although the price is twice as much, having an extra serving of rice might be a better option (^^;).
I look forward to the day when the "free extra rice" service will be resumed again!
