Today is a day for liver maintenance. So, I decided to have dinner in Maomasaki and then return home.
What came here is this take-out tonkatsu chain restaurant.
The location is Laska茅ヶ崎, located on the 1st floor of JR茅ヶ崎 Station’s north entrance.
In the year 1958, a specialty tandoor-tossed pork chop restaurant with a focus on quality was established in Kawasaki. This is segment 4/32. Translate only this segment and keep the wording natural. The source text includes details about the establishment's history and its unique offerings.
Oh, I didn’t know about the establishment founded by Kawasaki. Surprisingly, it’s located in a place that seems quite familiar to me.
When I moved to Tokyo, my classmate's uncle who also moved here with me
I remember that I was treated to a delicious lunch at Waseko, located in Yokohama Porta at that time.
Although there is still a restaurant called Yokohama Porta, I believe its location has changed.
At that time, I felt that it was unfortunate to be treated to such a luxurious item.
I remember receiving this meal from my uncle with gratitude. Compared to what I could afford at that time, it was truly a treat.
After that, I started earning money by myself. I have many experiences of using this tonkatsu restaurant.
Even at night, it’s quite popular, so there are long queues.
While standing in that line, I was thinking about what to choose from the showcase.
And then, I discovered something wonderful on the display case!
So,
・Hire Katsu Sandwich, Half-Size – 300 Yen
I have decided to purchase it.
There are also many other dishes I would like to try, so the half-size portion is really great! (^^)/
Let's get started and have a taste of the dinner dishes right away.
・Hirē Katsu Sand, Half-Size
Upon breaking the bag, it was a pair of items about 2 inches in size, contained in a plastic case.
This restaurant-review content contains exactly four pieces of sanduisan.
It's a half-size portion, but for a woman who eats little, this should be about enough to make one meal.
In other words, I think the regular size is a bit larger.
Upon tasting it, I found that the hirē katsu wasn't quite as soft as expected.
The flavor is added only to the sauce.
The bread used in the sandwich isn’t fluffy at all. It seems a bit dry.
However, in terms of overall taste, it’s not bad at all. It’s quite delicious.
I have written about various aspects of this restaurant, but considering that the price is just 300 yen, I think it’s a reasonable price.
And still, the only place I've seen that offers half-size dishes is here.
Perhaps there was a demand for half-sized portions, given that the regular size is quite large?
Thank you for your hospitality! (Points: 3.02, as of June 2019)
