Today is Saturday. Tomorrow, I plan to play golf. I've stayed overnight in Miyazaki, so it's a lonely trip for me.
I've searched online for various options, and finally decided on this one (^^)/
“Ate-maki” refers not to sushi as a meal, but rather to sushi used as an appetizer. It usually involves reducing the amount of sushi rice and focusing on fish and seafood as the main ingredient.
I visited around 7:00 PM on a Saturday.
The restaurant was almost fully booked due to reservations, but fortunately, they allowed me to sit at a vacant counter.
First, order beer.
The food starts, as expected, with a combination of sashimi (laughs).
While eating the sashimi, I quickly finished my beer.
So, in the case of Miyazaki, we switched to shochu, and specifically to a type with alcohol content. (Actually, I really prefer sodas, but I had to play it along.)
Ask the owner for recommendations, and we recommend Kawaeke, the Rock restaurant.
This is a sake made by Kawae, a small distillery located in Miyazaki Prefecture. The sake uses "Kōgochi Chikuma," a sweet sake made from potatoes sourced from Miyazaki Prefecture, which are carefully cultivated and processed with great attention to detail. The potatoes are harvested in the morning and used immediately for the brewing process. The sake is brewed using a traditional kame pot. Kawae has a very mild taste, with a beautiful flavor and a soft, elegant sweetness that lingers in the mouth.
And information from the website (^^)/
Atemaki today ordered three types of dishes: "Ika Maito," "Somon Ikura," and "Kaieru Tobiko."
In the scrolls, there isn’t as little as one might say for vinegar rice (laugh)
Even so, I ate it quickly and finished it in no time.
Additional appetizer: "Red ginger and seafood fried dough."
Overall, it was delicious. ('◇')ゞ
