Osaka Kita-Shinji is known as the largest entertainment district in Western Japan, similar to Ginza in Tokyo and Kita-Shinji in Osaka. It’s a place frequented by food connoisseurs. This popular restaurant has been open for 9 years, and soon it will be 10 years old. I wanted to visit this place after seeing the food photos on Instagram. The restaurant is located on the 5th floor of a building about 3 minutes away from JR Kita-Shinji Station. As soon as you get off the elevator, you’re at the restaurant. Fresh Fish Preparation
4種類の料理が提供されています:マグロ、赤身、中トロ、ヒラメ、ボタンエビ、モンゴイカです。見た目も美しく、食材も新鮮そのものです。一つ一つの食材を手で触りながら、味を楽しむことができます。本当に美味しい魚たちです。どの料理もとても美味しく、思わず「うーん」と感嘆してしまいました。美味しい時は言葉が出ないものですね。
Steamed Abalone and Grilled Sashimi Salmon Sushi
In front of me was a sashimi made with salmon, wrapped in bamboo shoots. It was truly a masterpiece of craftsmanship. Every time I bit into it, I could smell the aroma of the coastline. This is my favorite dish, and I enjoyed it slowly. The salmon was thick, and the rice and vinegar were just enough—it was a truly delicious sushi. This salmon stick sushi can also be brought back home.
Seasonal Grilled Fish
This is a dish called "Aruko no Kagami-yaki." On the same plate, there are also mountain jellyfish, Tosa-wa-e, Tsubu-kabe-tsuke, Den-suke-zuko, and asparagus-fried scallops. The trout has a strong saltiness, but the roasted flavor is excellent. The meat is tender and fragrant, making it a delicious dish. Each of the other dishes can be tasted individually, allowing you to enjoy various flavors. Every dish is so satisfying that one cannot help but sigh in approval.
Japanese-Roasted Beef with Side Vegetables
Both my partner and I love roast beef, and now it’s available in our restaurant. The cuts are large, and the meat is tender and delicious. In a Japanese-style restaurant, serving roast beef? It’s absolutely delicious.
Sauces and seasonal dishes
This is a dish of Japanese lobster rolled in gold thread. The preparation is meticulous, and the vinegar level is not strong. The lobster's flavor is exquisite, and the cooking method is truly professional.
Meals: Echizen Oroshi Soba
Kii-ken Oroshi Soba – My partner has a wheat allergy, so I switched to udon instead. It was served with cold oroshi thin noodles; the noodles had a refreshing texture and were perfect for eating.
Dessert: Black Dragon Distilled Liquor Konjac Pudding
This is a pudding made with local sake from Fukui.
If eaten with syrup, it tastes delicious.
Both the cuisine and the service were meticulous, making it a great restaurant.
I'm happy that they walked me all the way to the door.
