I just returned from America and arrived in Okinawa immediately. So, I chose Kawaji as the place for the dinner party without hesitation. I've been going there every year for 20 years now, so it's a quite comfortable place to be.
In a state of craving Japanese food, Kawaji is quite satisfied. The alcohol I drank with the head chef after a long time was also top-notch.

It’s been a long time since I last visited Okinawa on the first night of my trip. Even though there are more and more sushi restaurants across Okinawa, this place still feels like a tranquil spot for me. I’ve been going to Kaaji for 18 years now. Just by seeing the chef’s face, I feel like I’m eating the best sushi ever.
Continuing to evolve in its craftsmanship. And the abundant, ever-filling side dishes are simply outstanding. No matter what you order, you always feel satisfied and content. As usual, I had a wonderful time again.

During the short stay in Naha. I came to Okinawa on a business trip, but there was no place where I could actually eat rice.
Anyway, it’s been a long time since I last visited this place. I’ve been going here for 16 years now. It’s become the most peaceful place in Naha.
Among those who have trained at Kawaji and now operate their own restaurants, many are indeed accomplished apprentices. However, Kawaji Head Office remains a restaurant that is deeply loved by the local community.
While having a meeting with colleagues, I came by this restaurant. It's been a long time since I last had a full meal here. The food at this restaurant has truly improved greatly recently. Not only are the sashimi excellent, but even the other dishes are truly delicious.

Last night, for the first time in a long time, I went to Kawaji.
Recently, there have been more sushi restaurants in Naha, so I've been traveling around to try different sushi places. It felt like I was returning home after a long journey.
On the contrary, recently at Kawaji, the number of hand-held dishes was quite small, and most of the food served was other types of dishes. However, after a long time, I decided to order a hand-held dish again, and it seemed that there had been some improvement.
It was originally a sushi restaurant that I really liked. However, I felt that it had further developed and improved, so I wanted to experience more.
Next time, I really want to try focusing on the hand-rolled portion again.
