【総評】
Just a walk from Okubo Station (Hyogo). A popular sushi restaurant in Akashi, which has been featured on Bibgruman.
The bite size is slightly small, and the teman and shari are neatly arranged. The teman, of course, is made from locally sourced ingredients that show great care in preparation (^_^).
The store has a high-class appearance, but the atmosphere is friendly and comfortable. It is served by the head chef and his third-generation successor.
A sushi restaurant like this being a common sight in the city of Akashi... really makes Akashi a remarkable gourmet destination.

After passing two more stations from Minamishiro Station, we arrive at Okubo Station. We are heading towards the restaurant, Yuzen Koshima, which I had wanted to visit before.
Yokobou Station is a station located in a very ordinary residential area. Therefore, it's quite rare for people to get off the train due to some purpose they have. (^_^;)
The restaurant has a high-class appearance, with a brownish-tinted warm gate covered by a thick screen. It has a atmosphere that is one level above those traditional sushi shops in the neighborhood.
The interior of the restaurant is spacious, featuring a counter. The chef and the third-generation owner are the ones who serve the customers here.
The menu offers a variety of hand-tossed sushi, pressed sushi, and rolled items. There is also a considerable selection of one-piece dishes.
The abundance of individual dishes seems to be a legacy from the time when this was a restaurant. It seems that they are still serving traditional Japanese dishes and Osechi (traditional New Year dishes).
This time, it's a visit during working hours, so I decided to order a simple combination of hand-tossed and pressed sushi. This is usually the pattern I choose ^_^;
・上盛り合わせ 1950円
This segment contains a translation of Japanese restaurant-review content into English. The following is the requested target language:
**Hara-yushi Sushi and Kara-kuyu Maki, with various types of fillings including flat-mushi, Suzuki, saba, and harieka. All ingredients are served together at once.**
Akashi KikusuiAs expected from a place where someone has trained, the kushi-zushi is truly excellent. The fragrant flavor is simply irresistible ^_^
The bite size is a bit small, but the balance between the shari and the teman is quite good. Of course, all the temas served before are top-quality items.
Particularly good was, of course, the white flesh. The flatfish that is in season at this time is a masterpiece, with its delicious umami flavor that truly overflows when you bite into it (^_^).
The fresh and juicy hairiku and the rich red meat of salmon are also excellent. This combination is truly of high quality.
・タチウオとフグの握り(追加)※おそらく2カンで650円
Tuna and eel are, of course, included this time. Especially the tuna is a special ingredient mentioned by your husband as something "really impressive today."
That tuna… it has a firm, elastic texture that allows you to push the teeth back into the flesh. It also has an abundance of umami flavor. Even the hard, crisp parts of the skin are extremely delicious(T_T).
This is a standout dish made from tuna that I ate here recently. It’s extremely delicious. While it’s in season at this time, the tuna from Akashi is truly remarkable.
This octopus is also quite delicious. It has been lightly boiled, resulting in a rich and flavorful taste. The chewy texture on the palate is also quite pleasant (^_^).

【Finally】
The store has a high-class appearance, but the staff are very friendly. You can enjoy sushi without having to worry too much (^_^)
The sushi, whether it was hand-rolled or pressed sushi, was all delicious. However, the one that left a lasting impression was the tuna. That tuna was truly amazing...
It's a restaurant located in a somewhat remote area of Akashi. But I really want to visit here again. Thank you for the delicious meal.
