A traditional sushi restaurant located on Oosaki Hirokoji.
Actually, it’s a sister store of ‘Daikanyama Sushi Sato’, which I visited last summer as a drinking buddy. It’s also the store belonging to the relatives who own the high-end restaurant ‘Daikanyama Sushi Takuei’ with a rating of 3.62 on Yatakuro. But really, there’s hardly any connection between these two places… (Laughing)
The location is just after leaving the entrance of Oosaki Hirokoji Station on the Higashi-Toshi Ikegami Line, turning right at the first corner.
A little further away, in the area around Gozuka and Oosaki, there is a highly famous restaurant called “Uonagi Ryori Yoneyama”.
The restaurant has been established for over 30 years, giving it a truly traditional and authentic atmosphere of a venerable sushi shop.
The interior of the restaurant is as follows: To the left front, there is an L-shaped counter, with two tables in the back, seating eight people.
The three items served (cooked vegetables, mushrooms, etc.) are delicious.
The dishes received were,
“刺身盛合せ” (3000円)…数の子昆布、ひらめ、いか、たこ、炙り〆鯖、大とろ。
All of them require a lot of effort to prepare, but they are truly wonderful.
『焼き白子』(1700円)…白子ポン酢と迷ったのですが、焼き白子は珍しいのでお願いしました。
The thick and creamy whitefish has a fragrant aroma, making it an outstandingly delicious dish.
『カラスミ(自家製)』(1500円)…ねっとりとした濃厚な味わいのカラスミ(ホタルガイ)は、お酒を飲む際に最適です。

“酒盗+クリームチーズ”(900円)…ちょっと思っていたのとは違いました(笑)
A slice of cucumber topped with cream cheese, and on top of that, a piece of bonito sauce. A single spoonful.

・やりいか…装飾用の包丁は細かく丁寧に配置されており、滑らかな感触が素晴らしい。
・北寄貝…ウバガイ。
This is the peak of the season. It's huge, with a great taste on the bite, absolutely outstanding.
・うに…バフンウニかな?
Rich and creamy.
There's no need to say anything more.
・春子鯛…春子は、真鯛の稚魚です。
Although it's a little early in the season, the umami flavor is quite sufficient.
・煮蛤…煮はまぐりは、寿司ネタの中でも大好物です。
The umami of sea urchin and the sweetness of sweetfish make for a truly remarkable combination.
・卵…付け合わせとしていただきました。
It has a moderate sweetness.
・穴子…穴子も大好物(笑)
The aroma on the surface and the softness inside were simply outstanding.
