From the Keio Line's Daidai Bridge Station, heading towards Shinjuku, you will come across the Kowan intersection on the Enchū road. A curry restaurant is located a little further north along the street. It’s called YETI. My first visit was after 1 PM on a Sunday.
The exterior has a somewhat old-fashioned appearance, reminiscent of a tobacco or sake shop from the past. Lunch service is available from 11:00 to 15:00 (LO: 14:30). Inside, there are several counter seats and about six or seven tables with chairs. There are often several groups of customers making takeout orders.
The menu varies in terms of the types and quantities of curry. There are also curries without peanuts, such as curry with chicken and kebab. I was interested in the YETI set that includes tandoori chicken and szechuan cabbage, but it costs 1,375 yen, which is quite expensive. So, this time I chose a regular curry.

You can choose either nana or rice. If you prefer both, set the spiciness to a normal level. Drinks are also included, so it's a perfect choice for a "lassi". After waiting for about 10 minutes, the food will be served.
First impression: the naan is quite large. It lies spread out in a basket. I immediately tried to eat it. The naan isn’t fluffy at all; instead, it has a firm texture. The curry is slightly hotter than usual, and it’s a bit thickened. There’s also a lot of saltiness to it.
The tandoori chicken was filled with crispy pieces, and it had a fragrant and delicious aroma. It could be eaten with bread and rice, providing a lot of nutrition. In the end, I drank lassi to cool down before leaving the restaurant.
For payment, PayPay cannot be used. Instead, au PAY and Melpay are available. I'm not sure about the quality of fried foods, but I'll definitely come again to try katsu curry next time.
