I've wanted to try the charcoal-grilled o-bara since long ago. It had a somewhat expensive image, so I couldn't really go there at night(TдT). But now, I've decided to try it for lunch(^^). Lunch options usually start from around 1,700 yen for a set meal of grilled fish. It seems to be in the moderately expensive range(TдT).
Since it was a special occasion, I ordered a set meal of Tempura Dinner for 2,400 yen. It seems that the payment must be made in cash during lunchtime. I visited around noon on a weekday. There were no other customers in the restaurant, just me. I chose to sit at the far end of the counter. After placing my order, I could hear the sound of tempura being prepared in the back of the kitchen. It felt like a restaurant specializing in Japanese cuisine, which made me feel happy (^^)
After waiting for a while, the meal was served. It was quite a feast! First, I tasted the miso soup. It was really delicious. The quality of this Japanese restaurant’s food truly reflects its reputation.
While enjoying the salads and tea bowl steamed dishes, we moved on to the main dish, the tempura udon. It was truly delicious. Again, I repeat—the skills of this Japanese restaurant are truly remarkable. It's not just about the quality of the ingredients; the techniques used enhance the taste even more.
The main shrimp was crispy. The pumpkin was extremely sweet. This is really a great heaven-don.
I had a satisfying lunch from noon onwards. The price of 2,400 yen is a bit high, isn't it? No other customers came until I left the restaurant. Still, it's a bit expensive after all.
