On a weekday at 1:30 PM, it was indeed empty at this time.
The knife-cut noodles are of the five-meat type, with plenty of ingredients. The flavors available are salted and spicy. Since the salted version tends to be more common, I decided to try the spicy option.
In conclusion, a strong spicy hot oil covers the entire surface of the dish, offering a pungent and tangy taste. With seafood as the main ingredient, the overall flavor is mild, but the emphasis on spiciness and acidity is quite pronounced.
Once I got used to it, I could sense the rich flavor of the dish. However, the saltiness seemed to be more immediately noticeable.
The still familiar crisp texture of wheat and the uneven chop suki noodles offer a delightful experience in terms of texture.
I had two steamed dumplings and a dessert, which satisfied my hunger and made me very satisfied. I will definitely come back again. Thank you for the delicious meal!

We arrived at 12:20 on Sunday. The restaurant was about 80% full, and we were directed to a seating area with a carpeted floor in the back of the building.
The fried dumplings have been reimagined. Previously, orders were limited to 12 or more units, but now there are options of 8-unit portions.
Despite the restaurant name featuring “餃子” (dumplings), I had only ever eaten lunch steam dumplings before. The quantity was so large that I couldn’t even order fried dumplings.
The dumplings arrived about 15 minutes after the order was placed. Both the crust and the filling were beautiful. The filling had a crunchy texture, while the dumplings themselves had a thick, soft texture. The contrast between these two qualities was quite enjoyable.
The taste, well, it's more like a small pot of dumplings with a thick wrapper, rather than just dumplings. The meatiness and juices are outstanding. I tried various options, but eating them with black vinegar was the best way to enjoy them.
This beef pepper filling rice dish was perfect for lunch. The meat was very tender, and I was completely satisfied. I got to enjoy both fried dumplings and steamed dumplings.
The portion was a bit too large for my stomach, but I’ll definitely come back again to empty my stomach completely. Thank you very much for the delicious meal!

On a weekday at around 1:15 PM, we entered without waiting in line.
It seems that there is no rice available. The restaurant offered only noodles for lunch at the next table (Perhaps during the rice shortage incident in Reiwa, they are trying to minimize leftover rice by serving only noodles?).
The dumplings at this restaurant are truly representative of its name—they have a consistent, excellent taste. The chewy dough is perfectly suited to my preferences.
This is a type of pork-based dish, but it features the aroma of spices that have melted into the oil, along with a slightly firm texture from tofu. When you bite into the small amount of minced meat added later, it adds an extra layer of flavor, and the umami taste lingers in your mouth.
Just the price alone can differ by 300 to 400 yen. The difference is too significant (something needs to be done about this).
If I have the opportunity to come here again on a weekday, I will definitely visit. I want to try out various menus.
Thank you for your hospitality!

Beef Stir-Fry Lunch: 1780 yen
I have visited this restaurant several times on weekends, and the fact that I can sit without having to wait is really appealing. The set menu includes the following items.
★ Stir-fried beef with garlic sprouts
★ Steam dumplings 2 pieces

The main meat is soft and juicy, with a fresh aroma of garlic sprouts. The crunchy texture complements the rice perfectly.
The sticky almond tofu has a scent that resembles jasmine and coconut, which is very pleasing to me.
On weekdays, it seems to be around 1200 yen for the same content. It's a "one item, two prices" pattern. Ugh, weekdays are really more affordable.
Thank you for your hospitality!

(Soy sauce flavor) Dōshu-men with five-flavored anko sauce, grilled soba – 1380 yen
It took about 15 minutes for the menu to arrive, but as soon as it arrived, I was certain of my victory!
This restaurant serves an abundance of ingredients that contain flavorful components, such as Chinese cabbage, wood ear mushrooms, shiitake mushrooms, and button mushrooms. Additionally, the shrimp and octopus are also served in large portions.
The deliciousness that makes you feel happy the moment you eat it—that’s exactly what this is.
Particularly fresh was the noodles.
Similar to Chinese fried soba, this dish also uses cooked noodles that are roasted. It has a burnt aroma and a firm texture, reminiscent of hard gum-like food.
Of course, it’s delicious when eaten together with the ingredients. It’s also delicious when eaten alone as noodles. A unique and memorable texture.
I would like to eat there again.
Thank you for your hospitality!

Located on the 3rd floor of a building between Shinjuku South Gate and West Gate. I entered at 12:00 on Sunday, without any prior reservation. The interior is quite spacious.
Salt-flavored dumpling noodles
Steamed Potato Breads
Almond Tofu
It was a set.
The knife-noodles contain far more vegetables and seafood ingredients than expected. The crisp texture of the vegetables and the chewy texture of the octopus and shrimp are great. The saltiness is also perfect, helping to highlight the flavors of the ingredients. Using no kansa (a type of starch) makes the knife-noodles healthier and more enjoyable. Although they are thinly sliced, they still have a firm texture and a smooth feel.
The steamed dumplings are particularly notable for their crispy crust. The chicken-based filling has a mild flavor that pairs well with black vinegar.
This almond tofu is by far the most watery among the ones I have ever eaten, but it's a rich and creamy texture that I personally really enjoy.
Ah, all of them are of high quality that provides a great sense of satisfaction.
Being placed in a less conspicuous location, even if it's not in the front, is also a charm.
I will come again. Thank you for the delicious meal!
