Yesterday, I had something to attend during the day, so I had to postpone my visit to the World Expo.
Since it was my wife's birthday, we decided to have dinner at the General Store of Fashanji Yokozō near the temple.
This time, at my wife's request, I ordered a course of eel and mandarin fish.
I remember that in the past, it was a menu specifically for summer. But now, even during these times when there is still a slight chill in the air, people can order food from here.
First, enjoy the eel skin soup with tosa, and then the fried tarafugu.
It was a long time since I had fugu cuisine, so it was extremely delicious.
The main dish: eel belly.
The rice was ordered to a large portion.
I enjoyed it together with shichimi.
A set including tecuteri is also good, but for the upcoming season, a set with eel meat would be even better.
Of course, I also ordered sake for drinking together.
Since the night still retained a slight chill, my body felt warmer.
The dessert for the end was, as usual, Yuzu Shaved Ice Cream.
After eating, I need to feel refreshed, so I always order this shaved ice.
After a long time, I finally had a course of raw eel. It was delicious.
I would like to have this course again before the end of this year.

Usually, I go to order the techtori course from autumn to winter. But this time, the restaurant recommended a kanzanmanko course with lobster and eel.
I thought that in hot summers, there must be many people who really want to experience the Tetsubiri (a traditional Japanese dish).
I was interested in learning about the o-naguro dish at this food restaurant. Although it was a bit early on the day of the "Ushio no Usu" festival, I went there with my husband this time.
The senman course consisted of a total of 7 dishes.
First, let's have the familiar lobster skin yabiki and tetsusa, so to speak, lobster steaks.
We enjoyed the meal with pon aji.
The crab, both the flesh and the skin, have an unforgettable crisp texture.
Although I failed to take photos, I was served along with Japanese sake.
Indeed, Japanese cuisine pairs well with Japanese sake.
Next is the tora-fugu fried egg.
I ate while paying attention to the bones.
It was hot and delicious.
And finally, the main dishes: umari and liver dishes, along with fragrant items.
Una Shojō had pine trees and bamboo, but this time, we used bamboo instead.
The otomaki was even more flavorful than expected.
Since there would be a surplus, I decided to keep the amount of rice at a normal level. However, the eel was quite large in size, so I kinda regretted having chosen regular-sized rice instead of extra-large rice.
The ending was served as yuzu shaved ice.
When ordering desserts at Xuanpin, I always choose this yuzu shaved ice.
It has a refreshing taste, which is perfect for refreshing the mouth after eating.
It was a satisfying summer menu, better than I expected.
If the same menu is served, I would like to visit again next summer.
This time, I would like to enjoy the rice in a large serving size.

Today, I also went for dinner using the GoToEat campaign.
I went to the Genpō Hosshinji Headquarters located in a alley in Minami, Osaka, to eat techtori.
The reservation happened to be for today, but the temperature dropped, making it a perfect day for strolling.
This time, I ordered the special menu commemorating the 40th anniversary of the founding of Genpō Restaurant.
This is a limited menu available until November. Additionally, other individual dishes are discounted, making it a very affordable option.
Using that discount, we first ordered sake for drinking together.
This is an essential part of te cutiri.
The meal started with tetsusa.
After a long time, this tessa was really delicious.
Next is fugu sushi.
Two kens have been served.
While drinking hiré-sake, I also enjoyed this dish very much.
Next, fried chicken wings made from fugu.
It was hot and delicious, so I also ordered more lobster skin fried shrimp.
And then, to the main tekkiri.
We enjoyed sake, and we received plenty of it.
Although I missed taking photos, I did receive a miso soup as a final dish. The amount was more than I expected, and my stomach became full.

It was a course filled with mandarin ducks, and the quantity was also satisfying.
It's a limited menu for next month, so I really want to go back and try it again.
