【Okinawa Prefecture Naha City】【Steak & Iron Plate Grilled WEST – 2025’s Top 100 Restaurants】
It’s the final stage of my 2-night 3-day trip to Okinawa. I visited Naha and enjoyed grilled beef from Okinawa and shabushabu made with agoo pork. Since I hadn’t eaten steak yet, I checked out of the hotel before 12 o’clock and headed to the “Shibuya Branch” of the “Shibuya Kogyo Dori”. It’s easy to make a reservation through Yumelog, so that’s a convenient option.
The atmosphere inside the restaurant is reminiscent of a lively and bright version of the Ukai Tōkei restaurant located in Tokyo or Kanagawa. Right before your eyes, the chef is cooking the meat over the fire.
The lunch menu includes side dishes, salads, Okinawa vegetables, red potatoes, island tofu, koshihikari rice, pickles, and as dessert, Okinawa zenza. The drinks are included in the set, allowing customers to choose from 8 types of beef.

First, I was served a side dish made with mini salads and Okinawa papaya arranged on small plates.
The shells of the Kumejima carapace shrimp are roasted crisply at the end, and then used to make shrimp snacks.
This signature steak weighs 90 grams. At first, I thought it might be too little—considering our age and the fact that we eat less now, this was just the right amount.
Okinawa zenzaishi is a dessert where white rice zenzaishi is hidden within small pieces of kashi-ikki. These kinds of kashi-ikki are more common these days.
