Even after the start of winter, Osaka remains warm. However, according to the calendar, there are only a few days left until a light snowfall.
During such times, it's natural to want to go to a restaurant that serves wok-style cuisine.
When it comes to Osaka, the "Hōryūyaki" is a popular dish. In Minami area, there were many eel shops back in the past. It seems that since about four decades ago, the "Motsu Nabe" has become a famous dish there.
Today, I would like to study the multibowl stew with Mr. Tada, a member of our community.
First, let's toast with non-alcoholic beer. Then, enjoy pili-pili motsu-yaki, beef suji pon sauce, do-tejyuki, and motsu-toji.
All the dishes here are delicious.
But maybe I ordered too much.
Today's potted dish is a style of stew with a water-based cooking method. It was chosen as "Special Size" at the recommendation of President Seisho.
Since Mr. Sekisho was present, I asked him about the process of extracting the broth from chicken bones. It seems that they deliberately spill the most concentrated part of the broth while extracting it.

It's a gentle soup that allows you to enjoy the flavors of the ingredients.
The homemade vinegar sauce pairs perfectly with the food.
It's a very simple-style yakiniku pot, so it seems like you can eat as much as you want.

With a fragrant aroma of sesame, this dish is truly delicious.
If you drizzle vinegar over it here, it becomes even more delicious. If you drizzle sesame oil over it, the aroma of sesame oil spreads throughout, and it really tastes great.
Finally, Kataranna. It’s cooked using a barbecue method, with a caramelized flavor.
The sweetness lingers after the pot is cooked.

Boso Motsube - Motsu Hiko, Nanba Amemura Store @Nanba ~ Trying "Motsube", a famous dish of Osaka for the first time
In the latter part of my salaryman days, I was involved in the development of a restaurant called "Shinjuku Sabeten." I first relied on the "Kansai Super" around 30 years ago. Since then, I have been staying in Osaka for about 100 to 200 nights each time.
Of course, I have visited various restaurants. However, there was one type of establishment that I had never even visited.
That is a “motsudō” (grilled dish).
I was invited to study at a traditional Japanese restaurant called "Motsu-yaki-ya". So, I visited there.
Today, while listening to the chef, Mr. Seisho, explain the cuisine, we will also have the opportunity to learn about the technique of making a pork pot.

The soup is light in taste, yet the flavors of the ingredients are well-preserved, making it delicious.
A restaurant specializing in pork potsties—I don’t often go there, but it’s really delicious.
Indeed, it's a "Motsobatai" from an old-established restaurant.
The iron plate-dashi roll has arrived. The base price is 530 yen.
It’s beautifully rolled up, and it feels plump.
Next, I received "Osaka Nanba Kasumutsukabe" for 3,630 yen.
This segment contains a description of a popular Osaka dish called "Kasudon," which is filled with a lot of kasa.
Today, at the recommendation of President Seikimori, we offer water dumplings with a base price of 700 yen, along with tofu as an extra item for 300 yen.
Also, let's wait for it to cook.

It's a recommended restaurant, and their water dumplings are really delicious.
And, the dough for the dumplings that was placed above is very pleasant to the touch.
This restaurant has a truly unique flavor, and its sushi is delicious.
Finally, Taiwan Mo Tōban – unit price: 2,200 yen.
She ate it so deliciously that, reportedly, President Sennoshu even ordered a special portion of meat for her.
Perhaps, I might have been discovered as James Oukobo...
This chili pepper has a sharp bite, but it's perfect as an ingredient for a pot that is best eaten towards the end of the meal, due to its intense flavor.

I couldn’t finish eating my meal, and neither did my companion. So, we decided to head back home.
My companion asked me where to go next, regarding the second restaurant. But that's not possible, I think.
I didn't expect to be so full by this point, so "Uetsumi TeiIt's a relief that I didn't have to make reservations for these upcoming meals.
Even in Osaka, the hot pot is also good.
Because it's not possible to eat enough by oneself, I thought about inviting someone else along again.
