I love both Japanese local delicacies and cuisine from around the world. But this time, after a long time, I really wanted to try something special. So, I came here.
A restaurant in Yamaguchi Prefecture that serves local dishes.
I haven't visited the western part very often, so I'm interested in it.
PreviouslyRestaurant in Mao-chang-machiI went there, and it seems that that branch was established in Shinjuku. Based on information from my partner, this is my first visit.
The restaurant opened in May, but it was already very busy.
The semi-underground restaurant has no partitions or other barriers. When there are group customers present, the noise becomes quite loud, making it a bit difficult to engage in conversations (heh).
Well, just a light dinner. Since it's a convenience option, let's consider it acceptable.
The woman who came to take the order showed me something that wasn't on the menu. She showed me the "Yamaguchi Local Beer Menu."
This is absolutely something that beer lovers will love!
Immediately, ordered Hagi Yuzu beer.
Additionally, the driver's partner is "Seto-naite Lemon Juice".
I really like this restaurant. When I order sliced pickled vegetables, they serve them immediately upon request. I was told that’s how it works… (laugh)
Please stop doing that, order the items you have ordered.
Fried Egg Rolls
This is a dish of wheat miso stir-fried with Kano Ham.
The sliced pickled radish dumplings arrive with a beautiful pink appearance, but wait… what?!
This time, it was served in red and white☆
A boy and a girl… something like that, right? w
By the way, I remember that even at our main store, the paper soakers had different colors for men and women... was that not the case?
I really appreciate such a little bit of care and attention to detail in the presentation, it's really something I enjoy☆
The sliced pickles are garnished with these toppings, but really, this is something special!! It's delicious, isn't it?
Is this a local specialty of Yamaguchi?
And, all the menus we ordered were in a style similar to Yamaguchi’s…
厚揚げバラ肉巻きは、甘じょっぱい餡がかかった、棒状のおつまみです。これは家でも簡単に作れて、美味しいおつまみになります。
It is offered in a set of three items. It seems that an additional item can be added for a cost of 150 yen per item.
Next is Kano Ham's wheat miso stir-fry.
It was served with asparagus, and there seemed to be some butter used as well. While I appreciated those flavors, the dish had a strong, rich taste. Beer was quickly gone (explosive consumption).
Ordered a Pilsner from Yamaguchi Local Beer.
My partner said that she would like to eat this fragrant ham with rice! w
The menu of otsumaki (side dishes) also features a variety of other attractive local delicacies. But, well... I really have to try Wagasa-soba! That's for sure.
There are two types of products available: the original version from this restaurant, and the "Yamaguchi Style". I chose the latter option.
It seems that the restaurant with sweet soy sauce-based noodles follows the Yamaguchi style.
The restaurant they visited still boasts a visually impactful appearance, just as it always has been.
Please also provide a paper with instructions on how to eat.
I poured the abundant gold thread eggs, meat, and lemon-infused miso sauce into the hot broth. This allowed the flavor of the meat to be fully absorbed by the soup.
Indeed, the soup might have a milder taste compared to what I received before.
This original dish is said to use Kanto-spicy soy sauce. If you really want to experience the flavor of Yamaguchi, it might be a good idea to try the Yamaguchi-style version.
The thick sauce may be a bit softer.
适度地进食后,又加入了柚子胡椒,转眼间就吃完了!
It’s still delicious enough to eat. Although it’s so good that I might as well stop eating here for now.
By the time I actually returned, my stomach was completely empty. (爆)
The service was also extremely polite. This place is not meant for weekends; I really wish to visit here again during a weekday, to enjoy it more leisurely.
There were still many menus that I wanted to eat.
While staying in Tokyo, I had the pleasure of enjoying Yamaguchi in a wonderful restaurant.
The lunch menu also includes only Wagasa-soba. It seems that they serve it.
Thank you very much for your hospitality.
