October 5th (Sunday), around 6 p.m. I visited the restaurant after making a reservation in advance.
When my older friend asked me if there was any delicious restaurant around here, I suggested this place to her.
It was my first visit, but based on the research I did before coming here, I had a strong feeling that this place was definitely worth a try. The moment the first dish appeared on the menu, I felt reassured that this was indeed a great place. It seemed like both my friends enjoyed themselves thoroughly and had a great time there.
The restaurant is primarily a place with a counter, with only two separate boxes available for seating.
The interior of the restaurant is beautiful, with a pleasant scent of wood. It has a great atmosphere.
The staff members also provide gentle and polite service.

◇お通し:穴子のしんじょう生姜餡 800円
The delicate aroma of the broth, along with the smooth abalone sauce, makes it incredibly soft and creamy when it enters your mouth. It's simply delicious.
This dish has a refreshing taste, thanks to the ginger filling.
The price is a bit high, but the serving bowls are truly remarkable, reminiscent of those used for kaiseki cuisine. I really liked this presentation.
◇チキンソーモロと味玉のポテトサラダ 680円
“Please wrap it in seaweed and enjoy it,” the waiter explained. It looks so cute!
Large servings of vegetables, with young corn standing tall. It might seem like a healthy potato salad at first glance, but because it also contains chicken meat, it’s actually a potato salad that’s quite filling.
Of course, the version without seaweed is also delicious. But when rolled with seaweed, it instantly takes on a Japanese flavor. It's really an interesting idea! I enjoyed it while being impressed by such a creative approach.
◇ひなとろ 390円
This is a roasted torte with the shoulder meat located between the hand bones and the breast meat of the little bird.
Grilled with charcoal fire, it emits a pleasant aroma; has an appropriate amount of fat and a crispy texture.
Received with salt, and we also drink some alcohol♡
◇砂肝 370円
This was the ham that I expected.
◇炙り鶏皮ポン酢 680円
It looks like a cute container that was folded using origami techniques.
Please publish it. The taste is simply outstanding!
◇ふわふわ菊水はんぺん 350円
I also wanted to eat something, so I chose this restaurant.
It will be served on beautiful dishes adorned with gold foil.
The taste is truly profound, so I felt that while we were chatting leisurely, this obento stood out even more due to its exceptional deliciousness.
The sweet potato incorporated into the kiku water is likely making it even more fluffy.
The oden soup is also a gentle broth that can be consumed completely.
◇チキンスープ290円
Finally, I made my order.
I'm not sure how many hours this soup was simmered, but it was a delicious soup with rich collagen extracted from chicken. It didn't feel too salty at all. It was a great choice!
Although there are no photos, the jasmine high balls that I ordered along the way had a refreshing taste. It added color to our conversations, and we had a great time.
This is a hidden gem restaurant in Waseda.
A restaurant that is far from the chaos of the neighborhood.
Please visit this restaurant on nights when you are with important people, while respecting its rules.
Since I have less opportunities to go out and drink alcohol at night, I am looking forward to having another chance to visit this place during lunchtime.
