Tokyo Gourmet Trip: A stop at the pon-ya in Ikebukuro (ᵕᴗᵕ)✩
If you say you like Japanese sake, they have made reservations for me. ٩(ˊᗜˋ*)و♪
We met at the exit of Ikebukuro. I wasn't sure which was the nearest exit, so we headed towards it from the ground level.
It seems like it's the end of work time, with suits, ties, and glasses! Great for protecting the eyes, lol.
I've never been on this side of Ikebukuro before!!
We were guided to the table seats by the staff of the restaurant.
The main attraction of this restaurant is that you can enjoy four types of Japanese sake for a full two hours!

On this day, there was a wide variety of sake—from those with rich umami flavors to refreshing types. The compatibility with the dishes was also outstanding.

Among them, "Katsuobushi" is truly a stunning experience!!
Thick and creamy red meat, making your eyes and mouth melt uncontrollably ( ˘͈ ᵕ ˘͈♡).
“Sashimi was so delicious… I can’t believe it.” It was a luxurious experience, where the sashimi melted together with the sake in my mouth.
And… what I can't forget is the "Rose Pink Katsu Curry."
The cut surface is a delicate pink color, and the meat is moist and juicy. The wrapper is crispy!
