The restaurant "Kagurazaka Sushi Kimoto" with its branch in Kagurazaka.
As a high-end sushi restaurant, it's rare to see one that is open on Sundays. Therefore, for us couples who have Sunday as our common holiday, this is a very useful place.

Due to the pedestrian zone, it was not possible to park a taxi in front of the store. So, I walked a little along a backstreet.
There are also fully private rooms available, but of course, we chose to use the counter.
Personally, I believe that the charm of a high-end sushi restaurant lies in witnessing the magnificent scene where first-class chefs wrap the sushi in rice and then cut it with a knife.
This time, I was happy to have a special seat in front of the cutting board.

I ordered it for the first time, and it had a taste like crab and a texture like shellfish.
Although it has a distinctive appearance, I think it is a taste that is easy for Japanese people to connect with.

All the dishes were delicious. Among this meal, the one that truly touched my heart was this one.
Until now, I thought seaweed was just a secondary ingredient. But it turns out that high-quality seaweed can complement and enhance the flavor of other ingredients equally well.

Both dishes have a moderate sweetness, allowing the flavors of the ingredients to be fully appreciated.
I ordered sake as my drink.
There is a menu on the table, but there are also many items that are not listed in the menu.
I informed the staff at the restaurant that I prefer spicy flavors, and they prepared dishes that matched my preference as the meal progressed.
I was able to learn about the stories associated with each of the wines, which made the experience very enjoyable.
All of them are delicious, and they complement each other perfectly with sushi. As a result, I end up drinking too much.
Before I realized it, I was eating 5 bowls of rice with that couple.
This is a highly recommended restaurant for those who enjoy sushi or sake.
