On that day, I made a phone reservation and visited with my family of three.
I haven't been to this restaurant for 25 years. I visited it a few times during the year-end party at my previous workplace, and that's the last time I was there.
The interior of the restaurant seems to have been renovated a few years ago, and it has completely changed its appearance.
I sat down at the table indicated by the staff, and looked at the menu. Since my son has been eating these dishes quite often recently, I decided to order individual portions of meat items such as upper tanjiru, upper karubi, harami, rosu, karubi, uppermino, and wagyu ichibo. In addition, I ordered a chele gisa salad, rice (large size), and drinks: draft beer, non-alcoholic beer, and cola.
First served was the top cut of meat. You can choose between "thick-cut" and "thin-cut" options. This time, I chose the "thick-cut" option. After being cooked slowly over a roasting pan, the juices from the meat overflowed, making it extremely delicious!
This dish contains Wagyu Ichibosasaishi, offering a very rich taste. Carbs, roasts, and Harami are also delicious.
And what surprised me the most was the generous portion size. In some restaurants, a single serving may consist of only 3 or 4 pieces of meat. However, at this restaurant, they serve 6 pieces of meat per serving, which is quite reasonable.
The meat is marinated with a sauce. The way it’s marinated is absolutely perfect. By marinating the cooked meat in this sauce, excess fat is removed, making the meat even more delicious.
In the second half, the leftover lemons were squeezed into the soup to make it even more delicious.
The amount of meat was more than I expected. The additional items included raw beer, non-alcoholic beer, and one serving of orange shaved ice. I think the price was very reasonable.
Mezumi is an underrated battleground for steak restaurants, and there are many delicious places here. Among them, this restaurant that has been in operation for many years is a beloved choice among locals for delicious steaks.
