Basically, work ends very late at night, so the restaurants that I can get in even after 11 p.m. are really valuable to me.
Shinjuku and Ueno also have late-night grills, but it was a pleasure to find one in Iriya.
The nearby Yūgokuen also closed a bit early, and I can't accept reservations for late hours anymore, as I can't handle them alone...
This is a restaurant that, both in terms of its exterior and interior design, embodies the charm of the "Showa" era. The roasting stove has also been in use for many years. The heat level should always be set to a moderate fire or even weaker. Depending on the location, some places may require a weaker fire setting. This makes it ideal for enjoying the food slowly.
Upon sitting down, they brought over a sauce for grilled meat containing radish oroshi and lemon juice. I really liked this sauce for grilled meat. It's so refreshing that I could eat it to my heart's content.

The kimchi is of a size suitable for one person to eat, which is quite reasonable. The taste is more towards sweetness rather than sourness. It’s not too spicy at all. There isn’t much cabbage used; most of it is finely chopped.
センマイ刺しは最初からタレがかかったタイプのものです。黒センマイを使っています。切り方は適当で、時々特大サイズのセンマイが入っていることがあるので、自分で調整して食べます。タレは美味しいですが、センマイ刺しの水分によって徐々に薄くなっていきます。
The salted pork is quite large in size, so although the thickness is good, it’s difficult for someone like me who wants to eat it quickly. Also, the taste is rather weak; I would prefer a stronger salt flavor. The texture of the meat is at a medium level.
This ramen has a miso flavor from the very beginning. It's a delicious dish that seems to go well with rice. This miso sauce also comes with the meat. Perhaps this miso sauce is suitable for those who prefer a slightly spicy taste?
This dish is similar to the upper-grade salt sauce; it has a weak flavor. It’s considered to be of very poor quality.
I chose tamari and salt for the sauce. This time, I opted for a salt-based flavor. The taste is just perfect; it’s an excellent side dish for rice and a good accompaniment to alcohol.
The top pork belly and top ham had a very strong marinade, so it seemed like they would be tough for this dish. Therefore, I ordered regular pork belly and ham instead.
The cut of the meat was thin, with a pinkish-red texture. It was a type of rose beef and halamin. However, it was flavored with delicious sauce, making it truly worthy of being called "grilled meat." The thin texture of the meat added a unique charm to the dish.
I ordered a Rosu. The next dish that was brought to me had a bit more skin on it. Compared to the previous, which was a crispy red meat Rosu, this one was actually more delicious.
Korokoro Hormon has a rich fat content, and due to its small size, it is easy to eat. Mino was also odorless and delicious.
The quality of the meat varied depending on the item and the day; there were some discrepancies. However, considering that this steakhouse is open late into the night at this price, it’s still a decent place to get a meal.
There were quite a few individuals who chose to enjoy one-person grilled meat dishes. I would like to use this service again in the future.
The service is also gentle and relaxed, making the atmosphere comfortable and pleasant.
