From Sakasho Station, exit number 4, it's about 7 to 8 minutes of walking distance.
Continuing north along the Edo Road (National Highway 6), a building is located just before a five-way intersection.
This time, there was a guest from overseas who needed Japanese-style cuisine. I searched for such dishes near Asakusa Temple to satisfy that person's request.
By the way, he can't eat any seafood at all, so sushi was excluded. So, I chose kebab instead.
The sign at the door stated that reservations were only accepted. It was unclear whether the restaurant was full of reservations or if they only accept reservations from the beginning. However, it seems to be a popular restaurant.
By the way, today is the last day of the Misen Festival.
I made reservations quite early, and that paid off; I was guided to a semi-private room on the second floor.
This order is
◼️ランチすき焼き(椿) 税込6,800円
◼️アイス烏龍茶 税込400円
◼️Additional Eggs Tax included: 100 yen
The service fee of 10% is included, making the total cost for three people 23,099 yen including taxes.
Therefore, it costs approximately 7,700 yen per person.
By the way, originally, there were two eggs per person. But I really wanted to try Omelette Rice, so I ordered an additional egg.
If you ask for it, they will also provide soy sauce. It's a great service.
◼️Lunch Sushi Yaki
I have a preference for dishes with more fat in the meat, but since my partner is American and an Italian, they prefer red meat. Therefore, I chose the authentic "Cedar" restaurant that serves solidly prepared red meat dishes.
By the way, among the sashimi lunches offered, "Chun" is the cheapest option. Nevertheless, the red meat was tender and firm, with a rich umami flavor—truly delicious.
The sauce was also a bit sweet and easy to eat. Since it’s a sukiyaki, the taste is slightly stronger, but it really matched the eggs well and was delicious. It was so delicious that I even asked for more rice upon request.
By the way, it seems that Americans have some resistance to eating raw eggs. Instead of using raw eggs, they prefer to eat sukiyaki together with rice, just like in the case of beef dashi.
Actually, it's not a traditional beef ramen, but it was described as the most delicious beef ramen I've ever eaten.
By the way, I was deeply impressed by the deliciousness of spring chrysanthemums.
Italians enjoy their sukiyaki by thoroughly marinating all the ingredients in raw eggs.
If left as it is, the taste would be quite strong. Therefore, using raw eggs helps to make the taste more mild and easier to consume.
In the end, we even topped it with soy sauce, enjoying a perfect meal of raw egg omelette.
I was also able to enjoy everything to the fullest, and I was extremely satisfied.
Pocket size, taste, atmosphere, hospitality, etc. — I was completely satisfied with everything.
I was able to make sure that guests from overseas also enjoyed themselves, and I felt happy that I was able to provide the best hospitality.
We enjoyed the meal very much. Thank you for the delicious food.
Also, when guests from overseas come, we really hope they will be allowed to visit.
