Just 3 minutes walk from Saga Station. I visited "Gril Takeshita" after 12 o’clock on weekdays.
The interior of the restaurant is clean and tidy, with a calm atmosphere. It's filled with locals, indicating that it's a beloved place in the community. On this day, I was fortunate enough to be directed directly to a table without having to wait.
The lunch menu offers a wide variety of Western dishes. I was unsure which one to choose, but this time, I ordered the "Iron Pot-Style Grilled Curry" as part of the daily rotating iron plate grilled lunch option.
The set includes corn soup, salad, and coffee, which truly impressed me with the richness of the menu. Even more delightful was the fact that ice cream was provided for free during the meal. I couldn't help but think, "This is a really great service!" This added even more enjoyment after the meal.
A hot curry served in a iron pot was brought out with a sizzling sound. The aroma of spices and the delicious smell of melted cheese filled the air, stimulating appetite. The spices were well-presented, yet not too spicy. The curry had a rich texture and a smooth taste, making it extremely enjoyable to eat. The cheese added just the right amount, enhancing the flavor even more as it blended with the curry. It remained hot until the end, allowing for a truly enjoyable dining experience.
After eating, we enjoyed ice cream, resulting in a truly satisfying lunchtime that fulfilled both our hunger and our spirits.
The staff were very polite and greeted us with smiles. We enjoyed a pleasant atmosphere while enjoying delicious lunches. This is a restaurant that I sincerely recommend to those looking for a good place to have lunch around Saga Station.
Thank you for your hospitality.
