On September 9, 2025, this restaurant was re-opened. This is our place, “Ganko Wakayama Rokuzan Kōen”! It’s a historic location recognized as a registered tangible cultural property. We’ve enjoyed an elegant lunch here.

I arrived at the restaurant’s parking lot around 10:45.
The parking lot is really wide. It seems that it's still empty right now. ♪
From the parking lot to the restaurant, it's a bit of a walk (^ ^)
At the entrance of the gate, there was food for carp to eat.

The opening time has arrived. “Thank you for your patience♪” The staff came out of the store and guided the people who had made reservations first. After that, they guided everyone in turn. When I asked if it was okay to take photos during this time, they smiled and said, “Of course, no problem at all♪” and gave their consent happily.
Take off your shoes, climb up, and put them in the locked locker. Then, they will guide you along. ♪
At the end of the long hallway, there was a large room with a magnificent garden. We were led there accordingly.
As soon as I sat down, they brought me tea and hand sanitizer. They also gave me a brief introduction to the menu. They said, "If you have made a decision, just call us." ♪

The items available to choose from included 2 fried chicken pieces and fried shrimp with vegetables. However, combining fried foods with each other seems awkward, so I decided to opt for fried rice balls instead.
While I was looking at the garden, it took about 16 minutes before they arrived.
“The cabbages have been soaked in South Asian vinegar, so please enjoy them as they are. ♪”

The fabric is light in texture and crispy, with the tartar perfectly integrating into it. It tastes delicious. (゚∀゚)

Dashi oreshi and katsuobushi do good work♪
The large-sized rice portion is also quite a generous amount. (^。^)
The perfect addition to the meal is the cabbage – an enormous amount ∑(゚Д゚)‼️
Just eating cabbage alone, it felt like I could fill my stomach up♪
この味噌汁はアサリを使ったもので、とても美味しかったです♪
The atmosphere of the restaurant also contributes to the fact that most of its customers are elderly people.
