In Kita-Shinatsu, there's a restaurant called "Saika" that serves local chicken dishes.
Previously, when I visited the nearby izakaya next to this restaurant, it was a store that caught my attention.
There’s also a menu that says "Yakin Tonmo Arasu" - a menu that seems to suggest you can handle anything related to skewers.
I went with a friend from Smokehouse.
It's a bright time shortly after the restaurant opened, and most of the customers are regulars.
It's a conversation that isn't noisy, and it feels good to have such a pleasant exchange going on.
The beer is Kirin premium extract.
Soft drinks are 220 yen!!!
This seems to be a set of skewered dishes.
So, I ordered a “5-tray chicken skewers” and a “tuna skewer”.
The chicken seems to be a mix of domestic chickens and大山鸡.
Arrived without any explanation regarding the skewers.
It's good to be able to tell from the appearance, but this style is something I haven't seen for a long time.
On the contrary, it’s quite fresh. (Laughter)
The skewers are extremely delicious, with enough flavor to satisfy the appetite.
The pork skewers from the "Harami" section were the best.
Since there’s still a little left to eat, I’ll order “Crab Cream Croquettes”.
普通ですが、これで十分です。
The skewers can be ordered individually as a single item.
This time, it costs about 5,000 yen for two people.
If you just want to drink and have a snack, then it's probably a place where you can get drinks for 1,500 to 2,000 yen.
The skewers are authentic, so this gap is also quite satisfactory.
