Located in Nakatomi-cho, Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture, this charcoal-fired barbecue restaurant is just a few minutes’ walk from Nagahori Bridge of Osaka Metro.
In this highly competitive barbecue area, this restaurant feels like a standout in terms of meat quality and cost-effectiveness.
The interior has three floors. The first floor features a counter-style layout, while the second and third floors have table-style seating areas.
We went to the second-floor tables. We were two people, so we got a two-person table. There’s a little bit of space when multiple dishes are served with a brazier on the table.
The raw items include yukke and senmai.
Senmai comes with two types of sauces: salt-miso sauce and vinegar-miso sauce.
They even prepare separate sauces for each person. This might make the table capacity seem insufficient, but it’s a thoughtful gesture.
Yukke is also served with a strong sesame sauce. Among most restaurants, this is something that’s not common.
Tuna and halemimi are essential choices here.
The salt sauce on the tuna is excellent.
For the halemimi set, there are three pieces each of halemimi, upper halemimi, and upper sagari, totaling 4780 yen.
It might seem a bit expensive, but it’s more cost-effective compared to ordering individual items. The sagari was especially impressive.
We had an absolutely satisfying barbecue experience!
