Today, I arrived at Odakyū Line's Odakyū Sōmaharu station. To the north of the station lies Sōzōn Road. Near Sōmaharu Hospital, I visited the "King Kitchen" in the Innepaekalee restaurant for lunch. This is part of the Shōei Shōjuku, a shopping street. At the corner of the store, I thought it was a booth for kebab, but it turned out to be a takeout area. A menu was displayed at the store. As soon as I opened the door, staff were waiting for me and said, "Please sit wherever you like." After sitting down in an appropriate spot, I was served a cold drink.
First, let's take a look at the lunch menu. From this menu, I chose the "B Lunch Set" for 900 yen. For the curry, I selected "Kale Chicken Curry"; the spiciness is on the mild side. As for the naan or rice, I opted for naan. As my drink, I chose mango lassi. The interior of the restaurant has large seats with backrests, similar to those found in family restaurants.
First, mango lassi and salad were served. After waiting for a while, the dishes arrived. The curry was topped with cream. The naan was quite large in size. Let's start with the curry. The spinach chicken curry is a quite rare menu item, but it was available at this restaurant. The meat used seems to be chicken, and it tasted extremely delicious. I ordered a mild curry, but it wasn't quite as spicy as expected. The staff asked if the spiciness was acceptable, and I replied that it wasn't too spicy either, so it was fine.
I broke off a large naan and added it to the curry. This naan was quite plump, and it was really delicious. The salad was served with a distinctive orange dressing from Innepa restaurants, using lettuce and shredded cabbage. The mango lassi was served as a final treat. Recently, prices at this type of Innepa restaurant have been increasing, but this meal was quite reasonable.
