This is a restaurant located near Tenjin.
It was a store located in an old-style pub district. During the day, it served soba noodles, and at night, customers could enjoy alcoholic drinks as well!! It was a place that had such a vibe.
The parking lot is located a little walk over the road.
The parking space (how to park) is a bit difficult to understand.
It would be very helpful if there were any directions or guides in that area. (If there are, please let me know.)
The interior of the restaurant was long and narrow, with table seats at the front, and a seating area at the back.
There are spacious dining rooms, as well as slightly smaller dining areas.
It seems like a restaurant that puts a lot effort into local cuisine, making it an ideal place to attract customers from outside the county.
There are also banquet plans with unlimited drinks, so you can host banquets as well!!
Well, this time I ordered a large-sized zaru soba, horse cheese, mountain bandit grill, and Shinshū DX (named arbitrarily).
According to the review, Sōsa-yaki takes some time to prepare.
The website also mentioned that it takes some time to process reservations, and they would be grateful if customers could make reservations as often as possible.
Therefore, it is advisable to make reservations in advance or specify menu items that take time to prepare, such as yama sakimaki.
And so, we meet the soba.
It's quite finely sliced.
"細切り"という言葉は、私個人としては柔らかい印象を持ちますが、実際にはしっかりとしたコシがあり、非常に美味しいです!!
The sauce is quite light in flavor, allowing you to fully enjoy the delicious umami of the beans without any excess saltiness.
However, as many people in Nagano Prefecture have a strong taste preference, some may find it lacking in punchiness.
(In such times, let's use our family's treasured weapon—the seven-flavor seasoning to adjust things!!)
Both the horse grilled dish and the mountain bandit grill are good, but personally...
・Yama Sōyaki was what I wanted: mayonnaise.
・I wanted to add shiitake mushrooms myself.
Yes.
Even so, I was extremely satisfied.
Thank you very much for your hospitality.
