Due to the ongoing impact of the coronavirus, it's been a long time since I've had dinner here in Kumamoto.
This is a restaurant located about 50 meters after entering from National Route 3 in Kuzuki, Kitamachi Town.
It can be said to be a chicken-focused izakaya.
This is a great restaurant that offers a variety of traditional chicken dishes, making it a popular choice among customers. (^^)
I went during a time when there wasn’t much activity in the evening, but throughout the entire meal, I was the only customer present.
In Kumamoto, proper measures have been taken, and alcohol is not provided at all.
Last order was at 7:30 p.m., and the restaurant remained open until 8 p.m.
I'm a drink-averse person, so I can enjoy it just with soft drinks.
A tavern that doesn’t produce alcohol probably won’t have many customers, right?
The seats are also very comfortable to sit in, so overall, it's a situation where everything is positive for me.
I think the people at this restaurant must be doing an incredible amount of work.
Inside, there was only myself as the customer, but it seemed that delivery services were also available.
Takeout customers and phone orders were coming in non-stop.
If it weren't for the pandemic, I believe this would be a restaurant that is very lively with customers.
Featuring chicken as the main focus, there are many menus that suit my preferences. I can order whatever I like according to my desires.
The meal started with a piece of maki (200 yen).
The cucumber dressing was actually prepared by crushing them thoroughly, resulting in a messy and unorganized state.
It was a delicious appetizer with its spiciness and freshness.
The chicken skin had a sense of being frozen, but overall, it wasn't too bad.
And indeed, the delicious part was the hand-cut chicken feet on the menu sign.
Five pieces come together in one dish, priced at 700 yen per plate.
Served on skewers, with a crispy skin and juicy meat.
It has a bit of salt added to it, so the taste is a little stronger. However, it pairs well with soft drinks.
Ah, I really wish to live by eating these wing parts, as if they were the main staple food. (´д`)
Such a masterpiece of hand-cut chicken feet, capable of evoking such thoughts.
Indeed, if one eats ten fingerlings by themselves, then that's where it ends for everyone.
Well, I managed to refrain from ordering anything extra and stayed with just a small portion. (^^;)
In addition, I also tried fried dishes and pork feet, but the menu items other than hand bones...
It has a strong sense of being a casual izakaya, and it seems like there is room for further improvement.
However, the menu featuring the signboard that also serves as the restaurant’s name was a menu that made one crave another serving of hand-cut parts.
The service was also very pleasant, and the meal consisted of the dishes shown in the photo, along with two soft drinks, for a cost of around 5,000 yen.
I think the CPM is quite good too, so I plan to go and try eating more chicken feet again.
