平日のランチタイム。
Today, I invited a colleague to visit this restaurant that I had been looking forward to visiting for a while.
The location is in Fūōhashi-bashi. It’s located just inside the alley called “Za Ginko no Michi”, on the left side of the popular ramen restaurant “Seiza Ginko”.
It was a bit of a half-finished situation, but still, there were about 5 groups waiting. When my turn came, I entered and saw a board with the names listed on it.
I didn’t know…
I was left behind by the person waiting for me later on. (^◇^;)
For those visiting for the first time, there is a name list on the inside where you need to wait in line. Please be careful.
The restaurant is very lively, isn't it?
Guide to the sofa seats in the back part of the restaurant.
So!
Do you want to place an order?
Even though I was left behind by the person behind me (laugh)
I've already decided what to order.
Here,
Korean Ramen Combo Meal: 1,000 Yen
Choose either Korean ramen with white rice, fried chicken, or kimba. I chose kimba.
When the staff member who came to take our order pointed at the Korean ramen set menu on the menu and said, "I would like a Korean ramen set,"
“Would you like to order the Korean ramen set from this menu?”
Hmm…?
What's going on here?
The time was running out, so I automatically said "yes". But a Korean ramen meal... is just a Korean ramen meal, right? (Laugh)
However, the mystery was quickly solved.
There is another menu, which is specifically designed for Korean ramen. The content and prices are the same as the previous menu. You can choose any of the 9 types of ramen you like from this menu.
Upon closer inspection, it reads "Korean-Friendly Ramen Fair".
Should we have done this here... (^◇^;)
However, there are cases where the taste of ramen doesn’t quite meet our preferences. So, it involves a bit of adventure.
However, it was written that "Ott Györ Ramen" is extremely spicy! I really thought about whether it would have been better if I hadn't ordered it at all...
It might be a hassle if we end up having stomachaches starting from noon, who knows (laugh)
After a while, they appear.
Ah...
Just like the Korean style!
Those who often watch Korean dramas may be aware that Koreans cook ramen in a pot and eat it directly from the pot without transferring it to a serving dish. This is the Korean way of cooking. The pots used are usually gold-colored, which adds an excellent atmosphere to the dining experience.
Opening the door reveals a world of Korean-style ramen.
Wow〜
What to say? There's a sense of instant convenience and simplicity, and that's actually quite nice. It gives a feeling of instant convenience and respectability. There's a sealed egg included, and it looks delicious~❤️ When I visited my grandmother's house as a child, she always served miso ramen with a sealed egg. That was absolutely delicious.
That's exactly the Korean-style ramen of my grandmother, haha.
First, let's order the ramen.
Ah, there's a moderate spicy flavor that makes it delicious.
This is a choice made by the restaurant itself; probably, they have chosen to serve a type of ramen that is more suitable for the general public.
This is a spicy ramen, but it's not exactly called "spicy ramen". It seems to be either a Noguri (Nongxin) ramen.
I don’t know about it.
The rest includes kimchi, salads, fried dishes, kimchi, and seasonings?
There are quite a variety of options available.
I would like to order the kimba.
Hmm, it contains taruanko, which tastes great.
It feels like a Korean version of rolled sushi. The difference between it and regular rolled sushi lies in the dashi. If there’s tuna added, it becomes tuna-dashi sushi. (Laughs)
I forgot to order the salad first!
I quickly ordered a salad to clear my stomach, and then I decided to have kimchi.
Yes, it has a stable taste.
I thought it might be better if it was a bit more spicy, but after all, this is the Fūōbashi area. I can’t ignore the opinions of those ladies who work as office workers.
But actually, it has been biologically proven that women are more sensitive to spicy foods. (Is that really true? (^◇^;))
As you eat the ramen, that beloved texture remains in your mouth.
Tock desu na!
This is truly something special when incorporated into ramen.
It seems like a good match as well.
Yeah, it was pretty decent. I'm quite satisfied with it.
My colleague ordered a full meal of Yuzken, and kept ordering more white rice indefinitely. There was no limit to the amount of white rice they could order.
There are a total of 22 types of set meals available.
Plus, a Korean-favorite ramen fair.
It will definitely become popular.
Next time, we’ll serve a highly spicy ramen. Depending on the situation, we might decide to do a “customer visit → direct return” approach. So, we’ll have a half-day off after noon. (Laugh)
Thank you for your hospitality.
