Year-End.
It's a time when I'm constantly looking around, thinking about what to buy. When I have free time, I tend to clean up or feel a bit restless.
The actual cleaning work. I quit that big cleaning event a few years ago. I understand that I want to welcome the new year in a comfortable manner, but when it's cold outside, I don’t feel like doing a thorough cleaning. If I just do a little bit of cleaning from time to time, it should be fine.
But, shopping is a different matter. It’s not feasible to constantly buy ingredients for the Osechi every time. Even just one osechi would be difficult because ingredients like細大根 and金時人参 are only available from December onwards. Also,三つ葉 requires specific conditions to grow properly; it won’t grow well unless it’s grown in a suitable environment.
So, in December, it's a state of constant activity, more than usual.

I really enjoy shopping, so it's not a hassle at all; on the contrary, it's a pleasure. But first, let's head towards the traditional lunchtime.
Since it's impossible to ask my father about it, as usual, the search for food reviews begins. (Late at night the previous day)

It was a little past noon, and the parking lot was about 70% full. When I entered the restaurant, a staff member checked the last order time and guided me to a table in the back. It seems to be quite popular there.

The salad is indeed cold, but not to the point where it’s extremely icy. It’s like having a glass of beer that has been cooled with a serving dish.
The dressing seems to be a Southern or French-style red one; it's not a Kobe-style one. It has a gentle taste and is extremely delicious.
Rice set, the steak of daddy, and the hamburger inside. They arrived one after another. It sounds juicy and tastes delicious. I’ll have it now ♪

During the meal, they came back to get the last order. The portion was so large that there wasn’t anything needed beyond the lunch set. It was a satisfying meal.
The stomach was filled to the brim, and it was time to pay the bill. Feeling full and satisfied, a state of oxytocin circulated throughout my body, making me feel extremely relaxed. As usual, my bag became completely full after the purchase.
