Recently, there's a restaurant that serves boiled rice.
I feel that it's increasing even in Kanazawa and Ishikawa.
Shi Sushi no Sato (near Shibayama Interchange), a specialty restaurant serving Kurokama Rice. Nenga Wanae and Toseiya (Nagai-machi).
Atsushi (Kanryo-en Shimochi), Nikki Ushio-Me; Higashiiki (Owari-machi)
Kōshō (Chūgai-machi Soba), Rice with clay pot and side dishes, Ippai (Tochigawa),
However, (a large amount), Kamiyaki Mampuku (Kaga City)
And so on.
Also, a yakitori restaurant that specializes in pot-roasted rice
Opened on Higashi Chaya Street’s opposite side.
This is a restaurant review by RYO-san.
This location is located in front of the Kanazawa Station, along the Kata-machi road, Biei-dori, and also in the Higashi-Chaya Street this time.
There are a total of four restaurants in this area, right?
Why do we serve pot-roasted rice?
Since Oomoto is a yakitori restaurant, handling the charcoal fire is essential.
It can be described as something that connects to the concept of "kabayaki."
The orders placed were as follows:
Rice: Half a bowl (990 yen). The set includes three types of soy sauce rice and other dishes, as well as four types of pickled vegetables.
The rice is "Hyakman Kugi," a famous variety of rice from Ishikawa Prefecture. It seems to have developed a rich sweetness.
The miso soup is said to be made from rice grown in the region.
I thought the pot was cooked using a charcoal fire made of Benko charcoal, but...
We cook with solid fuel. A bit disappointing...
But the freshly cooked rice was just as delicious as expected.
2本のつくね(660円) 私の本業は焼き鳥屋さんで、本当に美味しいです!
This is cooked over a charcoal fire.
Although the food is cooked thoroughly inside,
The surface isn’t smooth and shiny. That’s amazing.
The menu also featured Nōdō beef and Nōdō pork among other items.
If possible, could you do it using a charcoal fire instead of solid fuel?
Then, the scores will increase even more.
I really hope you will put in the effort. (*´∀`*)
