Okinawa City, Biyane – A popular izakaya located behind the Okinawa Rehabilitation Center Hospital.
It stands alone in the residential street, but at night, the signlighting makes it easy to identify the location.
It's right near my home, so I often use this place.
A Japanese-style building with a red bell tower. It seems to have more than 50 seats, including counter seats, table seats, sitting areas, and terrace seats.
The interior has a down-to-earth atmosphere, but the cooking is done by professionals who seem to be skilled chefs.
The restaurant was always full of customers, and on this day, typical of Okinawa, there were several families among the regular customers, despite it being a bar.
Looking at the menu, there is a wide range of dishes that are characteristic of a refined restaurant. These include seafood and meat dishes, as well as Okinawa-style cuisine. Additionally, there are pizza and fried rice options available.
Despite having a menu that seems to be loved by people of all ages and genders, it offers a variety of "seafood dishes" during the peak season, as well as a rich selection of "Japanese sake".
Personally, I consider this a delicious restaurant specializing in seafood.
So, on this day, I ordered the "Nigiri Moezawase (5 kens)" along with the seasonal "Iwate Prefecture-produced Yuzukapon Sauce". Additionally, I ordered "Geso Tangyaki".
While enjoying the "o-shin" with a sip of alcohol, the first item served was the "nigiri mieragashi."
There are items like "grilled" ingredients, or "toppings," which make this "sushi" from a popular izakaya more elaborate and impressive.
In terms of taste, this restaurant is a solid "sushi" choice, considering it's a popular izakaya.
“生カキ”は適度な肉厚で、食べ応えがありましたが…追加で頼んだ“ゲソ唐揚げ”は、やり過ぎたかもしれません(^-^;
The variability in the presentation of this dish is what makes it a truly lovable, popular pub restaurant.
If you have enough money, you can enjoy seasonal seafood and Japanese sake, and you can have a decent drink.
If we can offer junk foods like "pizza" and "fried dishes," then it would be possible to organize drinking parties similar to those among young people.
Such places also contribute to a sense of reassurance for families with children, right?

A restaurant that stands out in a residential neighborhood, with an appearance that immediately conveys a down-to-earth image.
Since it's right near my home, I visit this place quite often. This time, I went there with a friend for a drink alone.
The interior of the restaurant is a traditional Japanese-style building. It has a capacity of about 30 seats, with counter seats, table seats, and private rooms.
It's a simple restaurant, but the chefs seem to be decent professionals. They prepare dishes that show a lot of effort and care.
The customers here seem to be mostly locals. The conversations heard around us were mostly about local matters.
Looking at the menu, it includes a wide variety of items such as "sashimi," "grilled dishes," "fried foods," and "stewed dishes."
From the classic izakaya menu to the menu items for expensive "koshigoe", a wide range of options.
However, in terms of ratio, compared to other restaurants, it seems that there are more dishes that use seafood.
Personally, this is the first restaurant where I've tasted "hamachi". I have always visited this place specifically to try seafood dishes.
Today, we had the popular "daishi maki tofu," and since it was cold, we ordered the "motsu nabe."
Additionally, I ordered dishes mainly from the seafood category.
The "daishi-maki egg" that was considered a popular dish was indeed delicious.
Other dishes didn’t have the same impact as before.
But this time, I deliberately didn’t order sashimi-style dishes. I was completely satisfied with the variety offered.
In the future, I will still choose to use this place when I want to enjoy dishes with seafood together with drinks.
Being in my late twenties, I really want to try drinking it alongside Japanese sake.

Perhaps because there aren’t many restaurants nearby, a large signboard shines brightly, standing out quite prominently.
The atmosphere is comfortable for one-person drinking, so I decided to give it a try.
The interior of the restaurant is a traditional Japanese-style building, featuring counter seats, table seats, and private dining areas.
It's a simple restaurant, but it has a clean and tidy atmosphere, creating an atmosphere that is suitable for adults.
When I arrived, there were two chefs who looked like chefs themselves, responsible for cooking, and two people in the kitchen area.
Looking at the menu, it seems that the restaurant mainly serves seafood dishes.
Various types of seafood are prepared in different ways, such as sashimi, butter roasts, salt-roasts, and tempura.
Other items include menu items such as "beef teriyaki," "beef tendon," and "beef loin."
I ordered "Abalone Tenderloins" (780 yen) and "Raw Kaki Ponzu Sauce" (380 yen) from the seasonal menu.
Honestly, I had never tasted "itachi," and I thought it was something that could only be eaten in high-end restaurants.
I could never have imagined that I would be able to order at a place like this.
“野菜”の「天ぷら」と一緒に、美しく盛り付けられた「鱧の天ぷら」。
It's a bit bland, but the crispy "tempura" with an inland-style flavor was truly a first-time experience. It was impressive and delicious~ (^v^)
“生牡蠣ポン酢”は“岩牡蠣”なのでしょうか?身が大きく、食べ応えがありました!
Anyway, the excitement of being able to eat “Abalone” was the most significant experience with this drink!
A professional chef's work, and the overall presentation was also very neat and tidy.
It's a restaurant where I've been able to encounter rare ingredients. It's a place I'd love to take my friends of the same generation to when we drink together.
