Hokkaido Yūshi City
15 minutes by foot from Yūshi Station
It seems to be the head office of "Shikiyu", a brand that is often seen at "Hokkaido Products Expos" held by famous department stores across the country.
I went to visit on May 22nd (Thursday), aiming for the release date of Yūshi sea urchins after May 20th. However, it turned out that Yūshi-produced sea urchins were not yet in stock at that time. The nearby restaurant also had no stock; they said that the distribution would start only on May 23rd this year.
It's a pity.
Even after eating, there are many tourists who prefer to relax leisurely. Since the revolving system is very poor, it’s better to make a reservation in advance.
I waited for 20 minutes at 11:00.

Top 5 Restaurants to Try: Ushiwabe Daj (Yakiniku) – 7700 Yen
The photos are taken from a close-up perspective, so they look good when enlarged. However, the actual product seems slightly smaller in size.
This dish contains only crisp seaweed and crab soup.
Indeed, no matter how expensive the ingredients are, when you come all the way from Hokkaido and end up with a bowl that costs 7,700 yen, it's quite surprising.
It's a budget-friendly dish.
I would like to increase the side dishes, or at least make the dosa itself larger to give it a more substantial appearance, even if the quantity remains the same.
The appearance of the takuda-don is simply outstanding.
The idea of comparing dishes from 5 major production areas is also interesting.
The "Shiso Wakame" on the table was my first time eating it, but it's really delicious! It seems they also offer delivery services.
The buffooni and purple oysters were served alternately. Among them, the buffooni from Sago was the most flavorful and tasted the best.
Since I didn't have much time, I rushed to eat, so if I get the chance again, I would like to savor the taste more thoroughly.
This time, I chose vinegar rice. If it's a matter of compatibility, then vinegar rice might be the best choice. However, if you want to experience the flavor of the oysters, "white rice" might be a better option for understanding the taste.
Thank you for your hospitality!
