5 minutes walk from Kyoban Kari-en Station, towards the west side. (In the direction where there’s a Tsutaya.)
The restaurant is located in a alley just one block away from the shopping street.
The interior of the restaurant consists of about five counter seats, along with three sets of seating areas that can accommodate four to six people each.
I visited around 7 PM on Monday, and there was no one already inside when I entered.
However, despite being a Monday, the number of customers continued to increase from that point on. Before I realized it, the restaurant was already full.
The dishes are basically part of a set menu, with a few individual items as well.
There are courses priced at 1980 yen, 2980 yen, and 3300 yen. The difference in the number of skewers served, or whether rice dishes are included, seems to correspond to the variation in prices.
That day, I wasn’t that hungry, so I chose a course that costs 1980 yen.
The menu items included a side dish, salad, vegetable sticks, five skewers, and one drink after the meal (coffee or tea).
Drinks include beer, dark beer, sake, shochu, fruit wines, and more. Basic items are all available.
The prices were around 400 to 800 yen each.
First, chicken sashimi and salad were served. After that, one type of skewered dish came at a time.

The photo shows makura baguette, and it's absolutely delicious!
A skewer with garlic toast on top, topped with chopped salmon, green onions, and ginger.
It's a combination of Japanese and Western flavors, making it an ideal choice as an appetizer for alcoholic drinks.
By the way, since I chose the cheapest menu this time, I couldn't drink anything. However, the soup here is absolutely delicious.
A soup that resembles chicken broth from a restaurant like "San Chicken Yu," or a rich chicken stock.
For those who have plenty of appetite, I highly recommend you give it a try.
Additionally, when receiving the last drink, they served us a cream cheese bagel as a bonus.

With the flavor of blueberries, it was extremely delicious.
They asked about any things I’m not good at, and when it came to paying, they offered to split the bill evenly. (This time, we went with two women; previously, we went as a family, so I think they pay close attention to each customer individually.) It’s a restaurant with many pleasant aspects.
This is a recommended restaurant when you want to enjoy skewers leisurely at Kari-in.
