My favorite sushi restaurant, Kino-suke-san.
Starting from August, the restaurant will cease its daytime operations and will only remain open from 7:00 PM to 19:00 PM.
And I heard that the "おまかせコース" has an upgraded menu, and the price increases to 11,000 yen. So, I decided to book the reservation by myself while I still had the chance to go.
We arrived at the restaurant at 18:30.
The restaurant is located within Shinohozuka Station, just 10 seconds' walk from the north entrance of the station.
The restaurant has only 8 seats on the counter.
On that day, all tables were fully booked due to advance reservations.
It's a two-person team consisting of the head chef and his daughter (on a part-time basis).
The menu is set up on the table in advance, and you can learn about any allergies or ingredients you may be sensitive to before the meal begins.
I was thirsty, so I started with a bottle of beer. The glass is made of pottery and has good foam.
Today was the Uso no Usu Day, so while the side dishes were delicious, the last bite of the sushi was also a snake.
They use a hidden knife as a trick to add variation to the texture of the food, and they also pay attention to details like changing the saltiness between the first and second halves of the dish. The chef's skills remain as outstanding as ever.
Since I was alone on this day, I retired with one medium-sized bottle of beer and two cups of alcohol.
Honestly, I want to drink more (*≧艸≦)
They offer half a cup of alcohol instead of one cup, allowing me to enjoy a wider variety of drinks. (*≧艸≦)

◎和歌山県産のハモの湯引き――旬の鱧を梅肉ではなく、辛子酢味噌で味付けしました。
It has a slightly pungent taste with chili, but it feels more like a dish with the flavor of trout than plum. Personally, I really enjoy this way of eating it.
It also pairs well with beer.

Therefore, I ordered beer as a aperitif and sake as a drink of choice.
Just the salty aroma of the sake thief makes the sake taste even better.

The interior has only a counter with about 10 seats.
If it's empty, you can enter without making a reservation. However, it’s recommended to make a reservation.
The lunch course costs 4,900 yen. It includes 4 side dishes, 10 katanas of sushi, a variety of rolls, tea bowl steamed goods, and red broth.
At night, the menu offers more premium items compared to daytime. The serving size remains 12 kanzas for all dishes; otherwise, the price is the same at 7,500 yen.
Lunch is quite affordable.
On that day, I saw a review of this restaurant on Instagram and really wanted to try the dish. I started with the *ushi katsu* prepared by the staff at the beachside location (*≧∀≦*).
Although it's not currently available, Kinosuke-san was originally a restaurant that served takeout salmon sushi. Their salmon sashimi and salmon sushi are absolutely delicious.
It's been a long time since I last had Kino-suke’s grilled salmon. I’m so happy to have it now〜(((o(*゚▽゚*)o)))♡
The side dishes and sushi that followed were both delicious, and I couldn't help but enjoy the sake even more.

Not bad, but personally, I would have preferred a more casual sauce for the sauce itself.

I’ve been longing for this kind of hand-held service for a long time, but during the maintenance period, we are not allowing customers to dine inside the restaurant (;∀;).
Instead, we can order the changing menu items by sushi box. So I made a reservation over the phone and went to buy it(*´∀`)♪
We arrived at the restaurant at 5:30 PM.

I received the folded food, took it home, and immediately enjoyed it with the sake from my home.

When I eat at this restaurant, the food is usually seasoned with salt and soy sauce. So, I just eat it without thinking too much about the seasoning. But when it comes to bento boxes, soy sauce is included in a separate package. In that case, it’s difficult to eat the food without any specific preparation.

We arrived at the restaurant at 18:30.
The restaurant is located within 10 seconds of the north entrance of Sakura Express Shinchōzō Station.
Many people fail to notice because the restaurant is located too close to each other.
Exit the ticket gate, proceed towards the left (where there is a convenience store), and when you reach the end of the store, turn to the right to find the entrance.
If you walk for 10 seconds and still can't find the restaurant, it's very likely that you've just passed by it.
The interior of the restaurant has only a counter with about eight seats. It is run by two men.
At the middle of the counter, there are a set of ingredients for making food. Just looking at them makes one's expectations grow (*´∀`)♪
Let's start with the side dishes.
The side dishes range from 380 yen to 880 yen – quite affordable! (*´∀`)♪
Drinks are also very affordable, with a highball costing only 380 yen. That's really great! (*≧∀≦*)
The restaurant also offers a variety of sake. Next to the sake cases, there are also ready-to-use shochu warming devices.
The sashimi is displayed on a wall, but the price is not indicated.
However, the most expensive item served that day was probably bonito. The price was 250 yen, which is quite reasonable. So please rest assured.
The owner is gentle and has a soft manner of speech (*´ω`*).
Just like in a store in Kita-Shinchi, when you return from the restroom, they will provide you with fresh air fresheners.
At first, only us were in the restaurant, but in no time, it became fully booked.
It seems that many people come here alone.
These dishes are all of very high quality and delicious (*≧∀≦*).
Whatever you eat here, there's no failure.
Personally, the impression of the ingredients is too strong, to the point where I can't even taste the sauce properly (*≧艸≦).
