Normally, this would be something to be skeptical about, but this place, "Meat Juice Water Mantou, Jiabao, Roppongi Intersection," is definitely worth considering. The staff are very energetic, and from the moment you enter, you can feel the lively atmosphere. Everyone seems to be having a great time. It's also convenient for friends who come over to drink or for people who want to have a quiet drink after work.
What's most impressive is that the famous bao is absolutely delicious. The chewy texture when eaten with the soup, and the juicy meat flavor that overflows from the bao are simply amazing. It might seem a bit expensive at 990 yen for four bakes, but considering the quality, it's worth the price. Since I went there for the second time, I couldn't order much other food besides the bao. However, they offer large-sized alcoholic drinks, which is great for those who want to drink heavily.
The atmosphere of the restaurant is designed with two floors. The first floor is suitable for small groups, while the second floor seems to be designated for groups of four or more people. They only accept reservations for groups of four or more, which seems to fit well for lively gatherings among friends. However, the only downside is that the toilets are extremely narrow. What surprised me even more was that you can get a highball drink for 390 yen! And that’s right in Roppongi? Additionally, if you exchange your glasses, you get a discount of 100 yen. How amazing!
Membership cards can be created for 500 yen, but it seems that the drink offered at the next event will be free. Since the venue was fully booked even after 10 p.m., I realized that this is a very popular restaurant. It's definitely a good idea to make a reservation in advance when you plan to visit.
