A distinctive aroma of fish can be sensed in the air. At first, this might seem a bit strong, but it’s actually a characteristic atmosphere that this restaurant, known for its fish dishes, possesses.

First of all, fried salmon.

As someone who prefers soy sauce for fish dishes, I found this dish quite enjoyable when eaten alone. It feels like an egg salad, but in fact, it’s a dish that truly showcases the skills of a “fish restaurant”. It can be paired with beer or sake, and it’s also versatile enough to be used as a side dish for rice.

Next is the soy sauce roll. It has a fluffy and thick texture, and it’s soft. When you put it in your mouth, it seems like it might break apart. The flavor of the soy sauce is mild, but the sweetness of sugar stands out clearly. It resembles the so-called “Edo preno sweet egg roll.”
And, there are two types of small dishes. The pickled radish is cut into thin slices and cooked thoroughly, resulting in a slightly moist texture. The soy sauce from the tofu has a strong flavor, with fish and seafood flavors as the base. Overall, the taste is quite strong, making it an excellent side dish for rice.
The Kinpō beef yacon is a dish made by mixing finely chopped yacon and carrots in a balanced proportion. The crisp texture remains intact. The sauce, which consists of soy sauce and mirin, creates a sweet-and-spicy flavor; the overall taste is moderately strong. The aroma of sesame adds a touch of flavor. Despite being a classic side dish, this dish has a "strong-tasting" style typical of a Japanese restaurant, making it suitable as an appetizer.
The miso soup has a taste similar to pork soup. The ingredients include radish, carrots, yams, tofu, and fried tofu. It's simply a miso soup with plenty of ingredients.
The miso soup contains pork, radish, carrots, taro, tofu, and fried egg. The description truly fits the term "laden with ingredients." Especially the sticky texture of the taro adds a rich taste similar to that of pork soup. The miso is not too strong; it allows one to taste the sweetness of the vegetables and tofu. Since pork is included, the soup has a rich texture reminiscent of pork soup. Finally, there are seasonings like cucumber pickles and tamari.
The fried autumn salmon is very satisfying to eat, and it complements rice perfectly. It seems to be a restaurant that is dedicated to using high-quality fish.
