4月下旬の穏やかな平日のランチタイム、予定していたお店が休みだったので、一人でふらりと初めて訪れた。
In front of the store, bento is sold. The store is located underground. After descending the stairs and opening the door, you will see several customers with bamboo baskets standing in front of the counter. On the counter, there are various kinds of bento. Following their actions, I choose two types and ask the staff to put them into small containers.
When it was my turn, they said that the payment would be made in advance. I went to the next counter to pay. It seems that the other people had already paid. There are various kinds of obanzai available, but without much thought, I chose the broccoli salad and macaroni salad that caught my eye. When asked about the main course, I ordered a spread hamburger. It was handed to me right away, so I placed it on the plate. Rice and a drink were also served. In no time, my full meal was ready.
Since there were free seats available, I fetched water and sat down at a four-person table.
Firstly, regarding the obanzai, it's a broccoli salad dressed with yuba and carrots, creating a Japanese-style salad. The macaroni salad has a standard flavor.
This is a hamburger topped with a creamy sauce, served over a grated yuzu. Additionally, there’s a grated radish on top of the hamburger, adding a Japanese-style touch. The meat is tender and easy to eat.
The rice is firm, and the soup is thin. However, when served in wooden utensils, it creates a nostalgic feeling. After finishing eating, the utensils are returned to the shelf near the washing area. The entire process is almost entirely self-service.
A quick lunch time passed. It felt like a staff cafeteria in the city. Thank you for the delicious meal.
