This is a restaurant I discovered by chance on the street. On the signboard, there are broken characters that read "Meiyaku". I was attracted by the delicious-looking menu board with words like "sushi" and "sashimi". I decided to enter the store. I remember this place was actually a sushi restaurant before.
The restaurant is quiet inside, but the owner is energetic and creates a stylish atmosphere. My favorite dish is kushiyaki or aburi. However, I spent quite a lot of money during my trip to Hachioo last week, so I decided not to order the expensive kushiyaki lunch this time. But next time, I’m determined to order kushiyaki without cutting corners. Please do your best, owner.
● 生寿司定食
Today, we have grilled anchovies, wala-sa, fresh salmon fillets, and medium-torpedo. The miso soup includes grilled bream. A luxurious menu indeed.
This sashimi is fresh. The tuna has a thick flesh and plenty of fat, making it a perfect match for alcohol. It’s definitely worth eating.

Natural salmon, of course, is of high quality with plenty of flavor. It’s very moist. The medium-sized fillet has no noticeable skin; its fatty part is moderate in thickness and has a soft texture.
The rice can be added to the order. This rice is really delicious. In a set meal of sashimi, it's important not to compromise the taste of the rice. This commitment to quality is also a testament to the chef's skills.
The chef’s ability to select ingredients is truly outstanding. After all, at this price and quality, it’s a rare find within the Yamanote Line area. Moreover, sashimi doesn’t have to be expensive to be delicious. It seems like a great place for a night-time drink.
Thank you for your hospitality. Next time, I will definitely have kushigaeshi as requested. Please do so again.
