Today, I decided to drink in Tōgōzuka.
This is the Togatsu and Higashi-Togatsu area, which became the top-ranked in the area rankings. It has been actively developed at a slow pace again. However, since it's quite far from Tokyo, I can't visit there frequently.
I try to go on expeditions when I have a relatively relaxed schedule for work, and the weather is also favorable. I look for conditions that meet these criteria to make it possible to go on an expedition.
That day, since my work was completed on time, I immediately headed towards Higashi-Toguzuka.
Today's target is this izakaya located in a residential area called Maeda-cho in Higashi-Togouchi.
Follow the Japanese route towards the intersection of Minse Shita. Turn left at the signal just after the Olympic sign (Tengen Bridge Intersection). After driving a short distance, you will find a small shopping street called "Green Shopping Center". Our restaurant is located at its entrance.
This commercial district features a renowned Japanese-style Chinese restaurant in Higashi-Toguzuka, known as "完全な勝利Also available.
The restaurant is open from 5 p.m.
This visit took place around 6:15 PM.
It has a straightforward storefront design, typical of a popular pub-style restaurant.
Although there are no specific menus or other displays on the storefront, the overall atmosphere gives a sense of trustworthiness, making it seem like a place where one can drink with confidence.
I will enter by opening the manual door.
The interior of the restaurant has a kitchen on one side, with 10 counter seats, and 12 table seats on the other side. In total, there are 22 seats available.
Due to incorrect information regarding the restaurant's details, we have also made corrections, including updating the operating hours.
First guests were one person at the counter seat.
It seemed to be a regular customer, but he was completely focused on the night TV.
It seemed like they were Yomiuri fans, so I tried not to speak to them (laugh).
But it was a situation where Sugano was being beaten mercilessly, so it was pleasant to see that person feeling regretful about it. (Laugh)
Under the guidance of my husband, I also sat down at a table in the back part of the restaurant. Our restaurant doesn’t have a menu book like other restaurants; instead, there is a wall-mounted menu that serves as the entire menu.
In such cases, I ask the owner to allow me to photograph all the menus as much as possible.
Looking at quite old reviews, it seems that in the past, they even offered set menus for the Twilight Time dining experience. However, I checked with the owner, and he confirmed that they no longer offer such services now.
Indeed, information tends to become outdated quickly, so it's important to update it to the most current information possible.
I ordered a beer.
The onishi is a stew served here.
The ingredients include bamboo shoots, fried tofu, konjac, and fried stew. As a set meal, the portion is quite substantial.
Although the flavor was considered gentle by the term "Kantō-style," it suited my preference for light-flavored dishes, given that I am a person who tends to prefer such styles, even among Kantō people.
It was quite delicious.
I ordered sashimi with fresh ingredients.
Perhaps because the restaurant wasn’t very crowded, the speed at which dishes were served was extremely fast.
Perhaps the husband's personality is also very meticulous.
This sashimi features a whole abalone.
On top of the plate, there was a pile of sashimi, which was quite appetizing.
It's extremely fresh tuna, perfect as an accompaniment to beer.
It was crispy and the fat was just right, making it extremely delicious.
I ordered a lemon soursauce drink.
In such a yakitoriya, these are the standard menu items.
The drink menu includes sake from "Sawa no Tsuru". There are also sauerkraut-based drinks such as Lemon Sour, Plum Sour, and Urowon High.
The rest of the menu consists of typical izakaya items such as hoppy drinks.
I ordered fried chicken.
Since it was thought that due to being fried in a special way, it might take some time to prepare, this dish was still served quickly.
These are fried chicken rolls that appear to have been coated with potato starch and fried at a relatively low temperature. They have a whitish color when cooked.
The cut of the meat seems to be the boneless breast part.
Due to the skin, it doesn't have the crisp texture that simple breast meat has. However, it doesn't possess the juicyness of thigh meat either.
Of course, it seems that they have deliberately crafted this in this way, so one can sense their dedication.
Since soy sauce and mayonnaise were served with the dish, I tried each of them separately.
これはとても美味しい唐揚げですね。
I've gotten quite drunk, and since I ate meat and fish, I'm pretty satisfied with the food.
Next, my attention was drawn to the rice dishes. Among them, I ordered tarako tea nakae.
Since it has taken about 35 minutes from entering the restaurant, you can understand how smooth the delivery of the food was.
The tarako tea nakae was served about 3 minutes after the order was placed.
On top of the rice, there are half-cut radishes. The dish is also garnished with nori, mitsuba, and white sesame seeds for color.
This dish was served with shiitake kabayaki. Please add an appropriate amount of wasaebi as well.
After all, it's a tea pickle after drinking.
It's a dish that I occasionally eat at home. But when I eat it, I really think it's good that I'm Japanese.
A generous amount of tarako brought out a great flavor, and it was delicious.
The accounting for this day is as follows: Some parts involve speculation, but it is as described below.
Live Beer (Medium) 600円
レモンソワール 400円
Oshinjo 450 yen
Fresh Fish Sashimi – 650 Yen
鳥唐揚 500円
Tarako Chakanku 400 yen
Total: 3,000 yen
Well, it's probably somewhere between expensive and affordable.
In any case, it's a comfortable and calm izakaya where you can enjoy your drinks in peace.
東戸塚には、私たちのような昔ながらの居酒屋が貴重な存在です。ですから、できるだけ長くお店を続けていただきたいと思います。
