A delicious restaurant where you can enjoy wine. It's a place that exists in such a difficult world, but I hope people will still make an effort to visit it. Currently, the restaurant is only open for takeout services.
Today was a small party at our home. Since I was allowed to eat whatever I liked, after some deliberation, I decided to book a order for Roast Chicken from Ichi Zou. Through the newsletter I subscribed to, I learned three days prior that Roast Chicken was a dish that required advance reservation.
The restaurant was visited at the scheduled time of 5:30 PM.
Roast Chicken: 4,000 yen
Bought it. The roast chicken received by the manager was extremely heavy.
Upon returning home, I have arranged the other prepared dishes on the table. Around the roast chicken, there are tomatoes and blueberries laid out in abundance. It now looks festive, like a Christmas dinner.
Roast Chicken: The meat is moist and juicy. The flavor of spices and herbs is distinct, with a rich taste.
Ugh, delicious. A generous amount of salt and pepper has been applied to the chicken, creating a wild and distinctive flavor. It’s exactly the kind of taste that makes alcohol more enjoyable.
Additionally, it is recommended to eat the meat. Inside, there is plenty of rice. This rice is also flavored with herbs and spices, making it delicious.
At first, we ordered beer with a slight alcohol content. After that, we had leftover white wine from yesterday. Additionally, my wife and I drank non-alcoholic wine while enjoying our roast chicken. Recently, we've been keeping a moderate alcohol intake.
One roasted chicken. It was simply impossible for two people to eat it alone, so the next day we broke apart all the meat and combined it with rice to make one meal in one plate for breakfast.
Sure enough, Ichizo’s cuisine is delicious. Last time I visited during lunchtime, there was something really special that happened. This is a restaurant I really want to keep in Hibarigaoka forever. When I want to enjoy a glass of wine in Hibarikaoka, this is definitely the first place that comes to mind. (I haven’t been there yet, but there’s also a bar nearby.)
Currently, the restaurant only offers takeout services. Since I have subscribed to their newsletter, I can learn about the menu details. I would be happy if they also actively updated their content on Instagram.
Once again, I am here.
Thank you for your hospitality.

A wine shop that is just a few minutes' walk from Hibari-Ku Station. The wines are delicious, and the draft beer is also very good.
Today is the election for the mayor of西東京市. I went to vote with my wife, and then I wondered what to do for lunch. After walking around the station area for a long time, I finally decided to go toワイン酒場いちぞう. I knew that they were offering a holiday lunch because I had registered for their newsletter. It’s been a while since I last visited this place, since I greeted the previous manager there.
Entering the restaurant
I: Takana and Pork Spicy Pasta – 1100 yen
ランチビール 350円
Wife: Mushroom Cream Pasta, 1100 yen
Lunch includes a salad and a soup.
Net Price
I ordered a lunch beer and a glass beer. Umm... I would be happy if they offered a large glass beer for 350 yen during lunch. Or maybe it would be more convenient if they served the usual glass beer for 500 yen. I'd appreciate that.
The salad is crispy and cold, and tastes delicious. According to the wife, “It’s great because we can’t eat such dishes at home.” Indeed, a salad with various vegetables like this is something that we rarely make at home.
After that, the pasta arrived. Wait… didn’t it seem like there was no soup? A few minutes later, a soup was served. It was a consomme-based soup.
Both pasta dishes are delicious. The thin noodles give a great texture, making it a satisfying meal. Really tasty. It's nice to have the option to mention it when the soup comes last; it makes eating more comfortable without any anxiety.

A restaurant located at the south entrance of Hibari-gaoka Station, where not only wines but also fresh beer is delicious. Recently, there were frequent requests for takeout, so I wanted to visit but couldn't quite make it. Then, the store manager announced in their newsletter that she was graduating. Although I wasn’t a regular customer, I felt like I needed to express my gratitude, so I visited at the beginning of the week.
That day, I managed to finish work on time and rushed home. I asked my wife if we should go out for dinner, and she agreed. So, after taking a shower, I went out for a visit.
It’s Monday, so I thought the restaurant would be open… But then I was asked, “Have you made any reservations?” It seems that the restaurant is full of reservations on this day. Perhaps it’s because the day approaches when the manager will graduate? I managed to get a table from that manager. The manager really goes the extra mile to ensure our comfort… Thank you very much.
I ordered
Charge: 300 yen × 2
Live Beer 590円
White Wine Glasses (species forgotten) 800 yen
ローストビーフ 黒毛和牛 800円
マッシュポット 400円
シデレウス(赤) 1100円
Elmira de San Lorenzo 1050円
(Tax-exclusive)
Total: 5874 yen
I really like drinking raw beer here. The staff takes good care of the servers, and the glasses are also very clean. That’s why it tastes great. It’s been a long time since I last drank raw beer. I haven’t eaten out at night lately.
Her choice was red wine over white wine. Other options included draft beer and white wine; all these were exclusive menu items available only to those who have subscribed to the newsletter.
I registered for the newsletter, so I ordered the food as usual. No special checks were conducted.
The roast beef made from black beef, which the manager talked about passionately in the newsletter, was very moist and delicious. The mashed potatoes were light and easy to eat with just water. What I really like is the appetizer that comes with it. There’s pâté and pink pepper in the bucket, which really stimulates appetite.
I enjoyed the limited edition red wine glasses thoroughly (they were really delicious). So, should we order something more? Or go to the second place... While talking with my wife, we noticed that there was another person who had rushed in without any prior reservation. So, we decided to leave the store. Maybe this person came to say hello to the manager, and in these days, it’s better not to stay too long. After paying the bill, I said a word of thanks to the manager who was preparing drinks. We, as a couple, hadn’t visited here very often, so the manager probably doesn’t know us. But we still wanted to say goodbye. Thank you for making our meal enjoyable until now.
This is a great restaurant for dates in Hibarigaoka. Both wine and draft beer, as well as the cuisine, are delicious. Highly recommended.
According to the newsletter, the new manager of the sister restaurant that recently closed its doors is said to be the former manager of Yoshitsuke. Yoshitsuke also wanted to take over before the closure, but was too busy in August...
I really hope to visit here again before the end of this year. I think it's definitely a comfortable place to dine. It seems that takeout services are still ongoing.
Thank you for your hospitality.

A delicious restaurant with wine in Hibari-gaoka Station's south entrance. I passed by the store the other day and learned that it was only offering takeout services at the time. So I called to make a reservation so that I could enjoy a delicious meal with my wife during dinner. Those who live nearby, please give it a try. Personally, I recommend their pasta and potato salad.
Just recently, I stopped by and only bought potato salad. It was really delicious. So, after discussing it with my wife, this time…
Seafood Paella, 2 servings, 1100 yen
Grilled Chicken Plate with Basil Flavor – 900 Yen
ラタトゥイユ 500円
Tax-exclusive
I ordered a meal. The restaurant is open from 16:00 to 21:00, but reservations can be made starting at 15:00. So I called to make a reservation after 15:00.
I arrived earlier than the scheduled reservation time, so I was allowed to wait in the store while my order was taken.
While waiting, I ordered an iced tea and a facial treatment. Sorry for any inconvenience.
We will serve it garnished at home.
This tarte tatin contains sweet potatoes and pumpkin, with a subtle sweetness that is quite delicious.
The grilled chicken dish was truly delicious, with ginger and wasaibira adding a unique flavor to the meat. The fried onions added a great contrast to the overall taste.
This seafood paella is very flavorful, with plenty of ingredients that infuse the sauce with delicious flavors. Personally, I would have preferred the rice to be a bit firmer.
The paella itself may seem a bit bland, but when eaten with the lemon and garlic-flavored mayonnaise that comes with it, its flavor becomes very distinct. Indeed, paella is delicious; it really makes you feel happy.
With a tax included price of 2700 yen, it’s quite satisfactory. In other words, you can enjoy the same dishes you usually eat at restaurants at home, while drinking whatever alcohol you like in moderation. That seems like a good deal after all.
Ah, and if you sign up for the newsletter, you can get soft and delicious ham as a bonus.
As the situation becomes more serious day by day, it's becoming difficult to go out. But if anyone living nearby, why not stop at a convenience store after shopping, and pick something to eat?
The restaurant located in Tanimi also sells wines. It only accepts payment in cash.
I think takeout services will continue for a while from now on, so I hope they can keep working hard. My expectations are...
Please include the fried taro from the regular menu on the takeout menu.
Could you try serving the paella on a plate specifically for the paella? Assuming that plates will be returned after the meal...
I haven't tried it, but I think that if I get used to it, it might be a good option for delivery through Uber Eats as well.
I really hope to use it again this month. Thank you very much.

It's become such a world... That's why I support the restaurants in Hibariyaoka through Yumello. It sounds like an absurd thing to say, but I still use it. I want to contribute in some way by using this service.
That day, I finished work at the scheduled time and went for a walk around Hibarigaoka. Usually, I walk endlessly through Ikoi no Mori Park, but today I walked briskly around Hibarigaoka Station. I was curious about what happened to the shops in Hibarigaoka due to the emergency declaration...
And when you pass by this place, Ichizo, it turns out that they are operating as a takeout-only restaurant. It’s a store that I’ve been using several times over the years—a beloved place. I really don’t want to end up in such a difficult situation because of this. If I can help in any way, I’d be happy to do so. The takeout menu here seems easy to pick up and take home.
Potato Salad: 500 yen (Tax included)
I purchased it. When I entered the store, it seemed like the manager was standing in front of the cashier counter, so I placed my order. Every time I use this service, I have seen the manager’s face, so I knew him. But of course, the manager didn’t know me at all. I’ve only used this service four times so far.
I asked several times, and they were very happy about it. I mentioned that it might take a while to prepare dishes like pasta or other items, so it would be better to make a reservation by phone in advance. While we were talking, they served potato salad into a container full.
After returning home, I showed my wife the container containing the potato salad.
“Where you bought the potato salad? Can you tell me?”
When asked, the response was "It must be Ichizo’s Potato Salad!" That's amazing. I think Ichizo’s Potato Salad is characterized by the crispy topping on top, but I really understood what they meant.
I will receive white wine, along with beer.
Both my wife and I ate and gave a word
“Delicious…”
Indeed, Ichizoo’s potato salad is delicious. It’s top-notch. The price of 500 yen might seem a bit high, but the quality and quantity are definitely worth it.
This is a restaurant that serves delicious wine and draft beer. It’s the perfect place for dates in Hibarigaoka.
I don't want to be in such a difficult situation due to this kind of chaos. Based on today's encounter, I've decided to do something that I can contribute to. Perhaps I should use Yumello and write reviews about local shops. If it's a place where takeout is available or a safe environment, I'll definitely try to use it and write reviews. Fortunately, I still have a job that seems stable. But maybe that's just being frivolous...
Once I've finished writing up all the reviews, I'll try to post reviews for the restaurants in Hibarigaoka as much as possible. Within my capabilities.
Thank you for your hospitality.

If you are asked at Hibari-Ku Station where to drink during a date, (since I don’t have many acquaintances in Hibari-Ku, I’ve never heard such a question before), I would definitely suggest Ichizou. I really want to try Japanese sake! It seems like the recommended place for Ichizou is probably a store located at the North Gate of this area.
Today, I was a bit busy with work, so before returning home, I sent a message to my wife saying, "Let's go out for dinner!" We first went to a Japanese restaurant in Hibari-Ku Kita-kiuchi. But… it wasn't satisfying at all. Oh right! Let's go to Ichozou! I thought we would have a good time there. So, we arrived 20 minutes before the last order was served.
Last time, a male staff member (was he the manager?) guided me. This time, I sat in the window-side seat for the first time. They told me that the last order was at 23:00. I knew that well, so I ordered a beer first. My wife ordered a sparkling wine.
Umm, it seems that the raw beer here is really delicious. Not only is the wine excellent, but the raw beer is also very good. The price of the raw beer at this restaurant is the same as that of the previous store. Maybe I should have come here from the start instead. Since I was still hungry, I ordered some dishes. The results were potato salad, long yams, and fried tofu.
But the potato salad and yacon fry here are really delicious. I think I ordered them last time too.
The recommended Shirau no Ahijjo is something you won’t eat for the first time. It’s delicious when paired with eggs. Be sure to order the baguette along with it. The julep was also topped with eggs, making it a truly delightful combination.
Indeed, if you have a date in Hibari-ku, I think it's a good choice. Order a white wine in a glass before the last order is taken, and then pay for it.
The two couples who were there earlier also seemed to be having a great time. As I mentioned last time, all the customers here are truly enjoying themselves. Just that alone makes this a great place to be, I think.
And so, I have been visiting this restaurant both last time and the time before that due to work-related matters. It seems like I've become quite familiar with the staff there; although I'm not particularly close friends with any of them, nor am I a regular customer. But I always make sure to visit the store in good spirits.
I’m also looking for other restaurants in Hibari-ga-cho where I can enjoy a pleasant meal. But this is the second restaurant I end up visiting. I’ll definitely visit again soon to try their pasta.
Thank you very much for your hospitality.

The title might seem a bit silly, but isn’t this something that everyone knows? It’s a imitation of Harry Sugiyama, who serves as a host on J-WAVE.
Ah, and there are also mentions of it in morning news programs and NHK's basic English programs, right? But I'm a listener of J-WAVE, so that impression is stronger for me. Usually, I'm not really that extravagant. However, what I want to say is that for couples living around Hibari-kaido, who are adults and have someone they're interested in, why not try this place? It's fine if you're just with friends or a group. But if you want to see someone you like happy, then go ahead and visit. If you're a wine lover, it's even better. There's no parking space available.
Today is a weekday. Although I didn’t take any paid leave the next day, I felt tired from work and decided to eat out. The first restaurant I went to was called Seiren, a delicious place specializing in grilled chicken. The second restaurant was Ichozou, which many people living in Hibarigaoka surely know about.
The staff members are also very responsive, but what makes this restaurant special to me is that all the customers have smiling faces and seem happy. That's what makes it great.
Perhaps this is a place where everyone feels happy when they come here. Although I can’t really be considered a regular customer, I don’t visit here very often.
If you order a set of appetizers, they will prepare them in a way that makes it easy for two people to eat. That's nice.
The fried potatoes made from long yams are delicious!
Today's recommended wine was exactly what I liked; it was delicious.
I ordered cheese platters and pasta, filling my stomach to the brim. I also received a lot of wine.
Sitting at the counter, the women among the customers, as well as the men sitting by the window who seem to be older than me, are enjoying themselves.
On the table were brochures from West Tokyo Joybal, which I really wanted to participate in.
The service, the atmosphere of the restaurant, the wine, the cuisine—everything was satisfactory. And the smiles on the faces of other customers were also delightful.
Thank you again today.
Ah, if I look at previous reviews, it seems that they also came here during times when work was stressful. I see now that, for me, this place has somehow become a place for stress relief over time.
Thank you for the delicious meal.
End.

A beautiful representative restaurant located at the Italian bar in front of the station, Hibari-Kou Station.
For a drink after returning from work, or for dates, girl's meetings, or even for use in similar events like blind dates.
I think you can also use it for waiting meetings by sitting at the counter.
It’s stylish, but it’s also easy to use.
The service is also very polite, making it a comfortable place where people tend to stay for a long time.
There is no parking space. There is a pay-per-mile parking lot nearby, but when you come here, you’ll definitely need to drink something.
That day, I was feeling tired from work, a day of fatigue.
Work is busy → Work overtime (just at the limit of the monthly regulations) → I'm working too hard, right? → Then I'll take a break. (I'll rest on Friday, and have three consecutive days off.) → Why do I need to rest when I'm already busy? (Silent complaints...) → Back to the beginning.
I had a bit of that nagging feeling, so I decided to go out for a meal with my wife. Although I keep saying "go out for a meal," in reality, I mostly just eat out.
Today, I visited a first-time experience at an Italian café where the atmosphere is full of vibes of the 1980s.
So, it would be fine to stay there for a long time, but after a while, I really wanted to go to Ichizo again. So, I decided to visit.
Italian restaurants often have a unique pattern of operations. Well, I just wanted to drink wine.
This restaurant is managed by a sake shop located in Taminu. The store named Yoshinosuke, situated at the north entrance of Hibari-Kou Station, seems to operate in a similar manner.
Located on the second floor, about two minutes' walk from the south entrance of Hibari-Kou Station. It's accessible by a narrow staircase.
The atmosphere is somewhat dimly lit. In front of the entrance, there is a counter, and on the left side, there are tables and seats spread out.
It seems that there was a semi-private table area that could accommodate about 8 people.
When I visited, it was during a regular weekday, but there were still quite a few customers.
I am guided to a table on the left side of the entrance. Previously, I was served at a counter, but both the counters and the tables are quite tall. So, be careful if you’re heavily intoxicated.
I ordered something while still slightly tipsy.
Nami Nami Sparkling Wine 490×2
Potato Salad 500
酒盗のピザ 600
Morì Bianco Glass 800
Spaghetti with Tomato Sauce 800
Nami Nami Sparkling is truly light and refreshing—it's delightful when it's this mild.
The potato salad with pink pepper seems to serve as an accent, and it tastes delicious.
Not only are the pizzas and pastas of the "wine thief" restaurant delicious, but the prices are also reasonable.
The way the dishes are prepared is also very meticulous, and the atmosphere is pleasant, which makes conversations flow smoothly.
Other customers at the tables as well as the young woman at the counter were enjoying their drinks happily.
Undoubtedly, a recommended drinking place in Hibari-Ku.
The menu isn’t very extensive, but each dish is delicious, so it’s just right.
This is the perfect place for a Hibari date. The staff's approachability makes it ideal even for couples who are just starting to get along with each other.
Friends are always nice, and it's great to chat with other women.
I visited about two other restaurants as a couple. We drank around two drinks each and then returned home. Maybe next time, we’ll visit one of them from the very beginning.
Always thank you very much.
My gloomy mood has been lifted.
Thank you very much for your hospitality.
