During my time stationed in Vietnam, several seniors continued to return to Japan. We decided to hold a celebration to honor them. Since those seniors all live near the Odakyū Line, we requested a Chinese restaurant as our choice. This place has a history of being selected for Bibgruman awards. It’s located just a few minutes' walk from Azusa-ga-tazuka Station. When we arrived at 7 PM on a weekday, the restaurant was full as usual. Many customers who came in unexpectedly were turned away. Therefore, reservations are essential.
This time, I ordered the following items. (Some photos were not taken.)
4種類の前菜が盛り合わせになっています。
Yodare Chicken
Chunmen
Big City Family's Grilled Dumplings
Mukiebi’s Fried Mignon Sauce
Aoliike no Sekiro Kusa Choshime
Grandpa’s meat dumplings
Grilled Cattle Beans with Parsley and Mountain Pepper
Mapo Tofu
Papa Chawan
It was my first visit to this restaurant in a while, but as always, each dish was modern, delicate, and had a somewhat homey flavor. The quality was impeccable, and all the guests were very satisfied. In particular, one guest really liked the yadi re chicken, which was included in the four types of appetizers. He couldn’t resist ordering it as a single item. As for drinks, I enjoyed my favorite Evisa draft beer, along with Qingdao IPA. After that, I ordered Xingxiang wine several times from the dessert tray. We had a great time talking about memories from my time stationed abroad and the current situation of Vietnam’s cities. It was a pleasant dinner experience.
It’s a popular restaurant, so it seems that you can only make reservations about two weeks in advance. It’s an ideal place to enjoy delicious Chinese cuisine with someone you know, especially if you’re located along the Odakyama line.
Therefore, I will use your service again. Thank you very much for the delicious meal!

During the weekend, we decided to have dinner with our family at this restaurant, which is just a few minutes' walk from the Zushigaya Otsusen Station. It's a popular restaurant, and it was quite difficult to get a reservation even in the last minute. So, this was our first visit here.
I ordered a Portuguese-style spicy bubble beer, along with the following dishes: chicken with gravy, green pepper stir-fry with Aoli crab and green onions, grilled dumplings, green pepper shreds, green vegetable stir-fry. To finish the meal, we had chicken white soup noodles and pan-fried rice. The sauce for the chicken with gravy had an excellent combination of spiciness, umami, and sourness. The combination of this sauce with the chewy texture of the chicken was truly outstanding. Such a sauce could be used to make grilled dumplings, but it felt even more delicious than any other type of dumpling sauce. Other dishes also had high quality standards, rivaling those of specialty ramen restaurants. The chicken white soup noodles and pan-fried rice with their distinctive plum texture added an extra touch of flavor. Overall, it was a satisfying dinner for the whole family. Personally, I was quite pleased by the IPA from Qingdao brand that was served as a final drink to round out the meal.
The chef comes from a family of renowned Chinese cuisine masters. Overall, the refined and modern flavors, along with the clean and bright atmosphere of the restaurant, were impressive. There are many menu items that I couldn't order this time, so I really hope to visit again in the future.
Thank you very much for your hospitality!
