As a little send-off party, we decided to hold a New Year's celebration near the site in Ueno, with the craftsmen who were deeply involved in the project.
This summer, I instructed a young craftsman whose marriage was decided to find a affordable restaurant with both food and drinks.

Initially, we thought to budget 5,000 yen per person. So, with a buffet and drinks included, the total cost per person would be 5,500 yen. Although this seems like an extra expense, considering that there are about 100 different dishes to choose from, it’s quite a deal… (^^;
The table with a stove is comfortable for even four people. When the seat of the bench-style chair is opened, it can be used to store coats and luggage.
It seems like they have taken measures to avoid any smoke or the smell of grilled meat being released into the air.
The drinking area consists of a counter-like space, where both alcoholic drinks and soft drinks are served self-service.
However, it’s always crowded, so it’s important to choose the right moment to get drinks ready.
If the bar counter offering unlimited drinks had a little more space, the process of ordering drinks would be much smoother...
The food items include salads, meat, and desserts. By scanning the QR code on one's smartphone, the menu is displayed, and users can check the items and quantities before placing their orders using a self-ordering system.
Moreover, the time from ordering to serving is extremely fast!
Will it be served within 1-2 minutes?
In a limited time of 120 minutes, this is something that's really important, you know?♪
The restaurant is fully booked, which is understandable!
I don't like the kind of care that is shown during work-related drinks or meal gatherings, where people try to take care of others by serving drinks or cooking meals for them. I usually don't do such things either.
In our workplace, where there is a strong trend of allowing people to drink whatever they like without considering age differences, and eat whatever they want without hesitation, a self-order system would be perfect.
Everyone was busy fiddling with their smartphones, placing orders one after another, so I didn’t get many photos. As a result, it’s a bit unclear what exactly we ordered… (^_^;)
The meat quality is so good that it hardly seems like a buffet. And the cut is very thick!
Especially the thick-cut turkey and the block of iceberg steak were very tasty!
