Earth House Salad, a plate of pork, and lamb meat.
I ordered three types of dishes and a sauerkraut.
The course is a bit too large for us, so it's more sensible to order individual dishes and leave the restaurant quickly.
Even before 19:00, the restaurant was fully booked, and it was a bustling place.
As always, the grilling of the meat is outstanding.
This time too, it was delicious.

How could there be a bistrot with such excellent value for money...
The location is near the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Railway Tsukuba-Ōkoku Station.
Address: Kanda-ku Kamezawa.
Located near the birthplace of Katsushika Hokusai, the street facing this place is simply called Hokusai-dori. It seems to have opened in March 2023 as a city of culture.
I had been passing by this restaurant before, but I rarely had the opportunity to stop in.
During the day, they serve spice curry and risotto for lunch, while at night, they become a bistro or a Japanese-style restaurant.
At first glance, it seemed like a business model that could be found anywhere. Perhaps the plain facade didn’t capture my interest at all. Now, I regret not having gone there earlier… There’s still a sense of regret lingering in my mind.
Saturday at 17:30, reservations are accepted immediately upon opening.
Booked a "cost-effective meal plan" consisting of 7 dishes.
That's because the other courses are served on rather large plates, which is why they were labeled as suitable for four people.
The interior is filled with adorable decorative objects, creating a comfortable atmosphere reminiscent of being in one's own living room.
The kitchen isn’t cramped, but it’s not particularly spacious either. The entire restaurant has a long shape.
I hesitated about whether to start with a glass, but I ordered the recommended red wine in a bottle.
The menu stated that the cuisine was "well satisfying," but I also ordered tandoori chicken as an à la carte item.
Well, this can lead to overeating later on...
Amuse, appetizers, salads, garlic toast… These items were served, and during that time, we enjoyed wine.
That day was extremely cold, and according to the forecast, it was supposed to snow. Fortunately, it hadn’t started yet.
Even so, the interior of the restaurant was warm.
Finally, the menu moves into the latter half, featuring today's grilled dishes and lamb dishes with spicy flavors.
The portion was an extremely large size, and I was already close to being full.
After this, the “set curry” is served. However, before that, the tandoori chicken that I ordered as a separate item is also served.
Hmm... Maybe I should have stopped it.
However, the real reason I ordered Tandoori Chicken is that the first amuse-bouche and appetizers were simply outstanding. I really wanted to fully enjoy the cuisine prepared by this chef. That’s basically how it was.
Although he comes from France, he is not confined to just French techniques. It is evident that he has acquired a wide range of knowledge and skills.
The chef standing in the kitchen exudes an atmosphere and aura of dedication towards cooking. In my own opinion, I have a strong intuition that the dishes prepared by this person will definitely be delicious.
Well, here comes the last “スクレ”。
This might be considered a special dish of this restaurant.
The use of spices is exquisite.
The moment I ate it, it wasn't that impressive. However, its flavor grew stronger over time. By the evening of that day, my body felt hot and uncomfortable.
Probably, my body temperature increased.
A rapid increase in body temperature is not good for the body, but I've heard that when it rises moderately, it can improve immunity. Is it possible to achieve such a result through this method...?
Up until now, I have eaten curry dishes in Indian restaurants on many occasions. However, I don’t remember ever experiencing such a distinct difference in the dining experience at such intervals.
A curry made from Japanese rice mixed with basmati rice, featuring reindeer meat.
It was extremely delicious, and compared to other curry-only restaurants, it was definitely the best dish.
If there are people who enjoy curry, I hope they will definitely try the curry served at this restaurant during lunch. I believe you will be very satisfied.

Last time, I visited in the evening and ordered a service menu. I was amazed by how good the value for money was.
The fact that the cost-performance ratio is good means that the perceived value of the food and service quality is relatively low. Even the lunch was outstanding.
I ordered the Aiyake Curry.
Salad with a smaller amount of rice.
Two types of curry are served together with Japanese rice and basmati rice, as well as a large salad. The way spices are used is truly remarkable, I must say.
Among them, the handling of kumisens is particularly outstanding.
The aroma is also pleasant, and the sensitivity when flavored in the mouth is excellent.
It seems that it becomes difficult to describe this dish using just one serving size anymore. The dish has been prepared to such a high standard that it's hard to imagine being described in just one portion.
I plan to visit again.
