I was going to have lunch with some friends, and we decided to visit this large mansion. It's a very spacious mansion with many rooms, so there are plenty of seats available. There's a table set up in the reception area, so even elderly people with damaged knees can enjoy themselves without any problems. It seems like this place is popular for gatherings of the elderly. They come dressed in kimonos to ask about our orders, which really adds to the atmosphere.
■ ヒレカツとじ定食 1078円
It takes about 15 minutes for the katsu and jjutsu to be served. The bottom part is heated with solid fuel, so it is gently cooked together with the semi-mature eggs.
The taste is quite strong, so it encourages people to eat more rice. (Laugh) The red broth also...
Is it a bit dark?
The last time I visited, there were pork cutlets with a sauce. But now, they have been changed to pork cutlets without sauce. The pork cutlets with sauce were actually better.
For lunch dinners, there are a variety of menus available, and all the dishes are quite expensive. So please consider your budget and decide whether to try them or not.

Once again, I visited this restaurant with a friend to have lunch in a very pleasant atmosphere.
Previously, it was a katsu-yaki set meal, so this time I wanted to try something different. While looking at the menu, I saw that they had eel, so I decided to order it without hesitation.

My friend ordered the same katsu-yaki set as last time. While we were waiting, the seiro was served a little later.
Immediately, when I removed the lid of the pot, the aroma of the eel mixed with the steam stimulated my appetite.
However, the amount of eel was less than I had imagined. (汗)
The steamed eel was fluffy and soft, and it blended well with the steamed rice, making it delicious.
The soup was so full that it didn’t match the serving bowls at all. No matter how much you ate, it never seemed to decrease in quantity.

Due to rainy weather, my work was canceled, so I decided to take my partner out for lunch.
I brought them to a restaurant that my friend knows.
I had been interested in this place for a while, but I thought it seemed too exclusive to be accessible, so I didn’t really want to try going there. But it turned out to be a good decision to go along with them.
Upon entering the magnificent entrance, I put my shoes in the shoebox. Looking around, I see a magnificent kimonomask displayed, which gives me a sense of elegance.
Following Ms. Nakai through the long hallway, I was led to a private room. Upon arriving at the table, I saw a menu placed there. I immediately flipped through it and found various lunch menus priced around 1,000 yen. Among them...

The miso soup can be changed into a warm soba for an additional 300 yen.
Tax included: 1298 yen
After a while, the freshly cooked katsu topped with grated cheese was served. The rice was cooked in a single-pot method, so it was absolutely delicious!
Take a bite of the katsu, and you'll find it has a sweet-and-spicy flavor that makes rice taste even better. The tonkatsu, which is wrapped around the egg, is also incredibly soft—definitely worth trying!
This soba is topped with katsuneyagi, and the tadukisoba is also sweet and spicy, perfectly matching the broth. It's simply outstanding.
It's great that I can experience a taste of a teahouse with such low prices.
