Visited a French restaurant renovated from an old ryokan along the Kawaguchi River. Had a Christmas lunch with my family here.
This restaurant has a history of 150 years, with its establishment dating back to 1870. It is a registered tangible cultural property.
As a place that is often used as wedding venues and party locations, I'm sure many of you are already familiar with it.
This is not my first time visiting this place. It's also a place that I remember fondly—my husband booked a dinner for me as a surprise on my birthday four years ago. ❗️
That time, I enjoyed myself on the riverbed♪
I learned that there was a limited Christmas lunch available only for families with children at such a memorable place, so I immediately made a reservation☺️
It seems that staff members who have small children actually organize this event every year during this time.
Perhaps next year, it will also be decided here again〜❗️

We are fans of French cuisine, and especially fond of Rossini-style dishes. So, of course, we didn’t hesitate to add foie gras to the meat dish!
All of them are delicious, which is expected. But still, the black beef and foie gras served as the main course won the top prize❗️
The source is truly delicious, and the wine goes well with it. It also pairs perfectly with bread, making it an absolutely stunning experience. It’s a true masterpiece. ❗️
It’s also a great feature that they offer dishes made using Kyoto vegetables. ❗️
The service was just as good as last time. Most importantly, our child remained completely calm and enjoyed the meal alone, with a happy and smiling expression. It was a pleasant experience to have a meal there. ❗️
The children’s area was also full of fun activities, so I really hope that more such events will be held regularly. ‼️
