From the Prince Station on the JR Keihin Tohoku Line, it takes a few minutes to walk along the alley in the Toyoima area.
Vietnam Cuisine Restaurant "Fueya".
I visited this restaurant for the first time at noon in late January.
“フエ”という言葉は、ベトナムの中部に位置する古都フエから来ていると考えられています。
The interior of the restaurant has a counter area and table areas. According to online information, the total number of seats is 28, making it a spacious establishment.
There was also a large table that could accommodate about 10 people in the back, and the restaurant had a capacity of nearly 40 people.
I sit at the far end of the counter.
The restaurant was run by two Vietnamese men and women.
This day was a weekend, so there was no lunch menu on the table. Therefore, for weekends, it's the regular menu.
Perhaps that’s all there is. So, on this day, I chose a dish from the menu posted on the counter.
“Beef Fow and Bambiceet” (1210 yen)
I ordered this.
Without much waiting, the set was served.
The noodles for “Beef Fo” are made from white rice noodles. The ingredients include beef, green onions, and garlic.
“バンミ”とは、ベトナム風のバケットサンドのことです。
In the local area, it has become a common first-food option and is sold at street vendors and similar places.
I also often have it as breakfast during my visits to Vietnam. In this restaurant, the menu...
"Sandwich", "Bimy", "Bambi" - these terms are written in different ways, but personally...
In Japan, the term commonly used for "bimie" is "banmi". However, calling it "banmi" seems to be a more natural choice.
It fits perfectly. (^^)
The ingredients of this bibim include pork cutlet, mixed vegetables with carrots and radishes, as well as lettuce.
I put all the lettuce that came with the meal into the salad bowl, and immediately tried it out♪
The fo is truly enjoyable with its unique smooth texture on the tongue. (^^)
The soup is almost transparent, but it has a very rich texture and tastes excellent.
The beef is of a medium size, but it is extremely tender and delicious.
In the middle of cooking, I added the chili sauce and garlic vinegar to the tableware. Even when changing the flavor, it still tasted delicious.
The bread at “Bambi” is so hard that even if you bite into it, a little amount will spill out.
It's easy to eat. There's plenty of pork, so it's satisfying to eat. The taste was also delicious.
I finished eating the soup from Fōo, drinking every last drop.
Thank you very much for your hospitality.
