An Indian curry restaurant located about 2 minutes walk from Ikkaishima Station on the Higashi-Tetsu Ikegami Line. I visited there for lunch on a weekend.
A local-oriented Indian/Nepalese restaurant.
I visited around 11 o'clock, almost at the same time as the restaurant opened. By 12 o'clock, the place was already full.
Today's lunch featured a daily changeable curry, which was pumpkin and chicken curry.
I ordered a daily change set for 1100 yen.
▪️Today, in addition to the daily changing curry, you can choose one type of curry from the menu. Additionally, you can request a curry with cheese as the side dish (depending on the spiciness of the curry).
▪️迷你尺寸沙拉套餐
▪️Drinks can also be chosen from the menu.
▪️ナンとサフランライスは無料で追加が可能です。
A quite affordable lunch set, I chose seafood curry with a medium-spicy level.
The drink is hot chai.
The interior of the restaurant is also beautifully arranged, and the staff's service is very polite.
The curry of pumpkin and chicken has a taste with a slight sweetness. It seems to be designed to be easy to consume for Japanese people.
The spiciness was normal, but since I often eat Indian curry, if you really enjoy spicy food, it might be better to make it even spicier.
The moment it was brought over, I was shocked by its size.
Outside is crispy, while inside it's fluffy and delicious dough.
It also pairs well with curry.
I've had enough to eat.
The interior is not very large, but it provides a comfortable space where you can feel the atmosphere of India.
Thank you for your hospitality.

An Indian curry restaurant located about 2 minutes walk from Ikebukuro Station on the Toyoko-Ikebukuro Line. I visited there for lunch during the weekend.
A local-oriented Indian/Nepalese restaurant.
I visited around 11 o'clock, almost at the same time as the restaurant opened. However, there were constant streams of customers ordering takeout later on.
Today's daily special is a chickpea and chicken curry. I also ordered a daily set with two additional options (price: 1100 yen).
The drink chosen was an ice chai.
For +350 yen, I had my order changed to cheese nan.
It seems to be a family-run restaurant. The attentive service and comfortable atmosphere made it an impressive experience.
Daily Set (1100 yen)
Service is provided within about 5 minutes after placing the order.
A set including two types of curry, naan, rice, tandoori chicken, salad, achchar, sweet rice, and a drink.
The chicken and egg curry has a slightly sweet taste, and it seems to be designed to be easy to consume for Japanese people.
The spiciness was normal, but since I often eat Indian curry, if you really like spicy food, it might be better to make it even spicier.
Another dish was prepared as maton curry.
The aroma of spices is distinctive. It's a very complex scent. This curry contains spices that have a woody aroma, which is a characteristic of maton curry. Such spices are often included in good restaurants in Tokyo, but they're not present in cheaper places. The meat used in this dish is also large-sized.
The cheese nan is a type of sandwich where the cheese extends outward. It’s not too heavy, and personally, I found it better that it wasn’t divided into four parts. Even just having cheese nan alone was delicious, so I ate it quickly.
It's a restaurant with a great atmosphere that makes you want to stay longer.
Thank you for your hospitality.
