Winter visit.
As part of a friend's plan, I decided to visit this restaurant in Toyokawa, with the aim of enjoying a crab course meal.
By the way, the restaurant "Kakumura" that we visited this time has moved from Chuo-machi, where it previously operated, to its current location in Izumi-machi.
Therefore, this post will be the first of its kind after the transfer.
Since there was some time left until the gathering, I ordered sashimi and other dishes. This way, we managed to pass the time productively until everyone arrived at the place with beer on hand.
The sashimi was all cut thickly, and both the octopus and the mackerel were delicious.
Although the prices listed for the crab course are high, other courses and individual dishes can be considered within a normal price range.

◎セコガニ・・・大きさは小さいですが、身も美味しく、特徴的な個体が酒のお供として最適です。

◎カニ刺し……生のカニをそのまま食べる。甘く、そして新鮮だ。口に入った瞬間、甘さの後に続く旨味が素晴らしい。
◎茹でガニ――蟹の甲羅ごと提供され、蟹味噌を存分に楽しむことができます。蟹味噌は濃厚です。
◎カニの天ぷら……熱々のうちに揚げられたばかりの天ぷらを食べる。身はしっかりしており、カニの味と衣を大切にするために塩で調理されている。こちらも美味しい。
◎焼きカニ……柔らかくてジューシーなカニを焼いた、香ばしい一品です。余計な味付けをせず、少量のレモンを絞ってそのまま食べます。
◎カニ鍋・・・まずはカニの胴体とシイタケを鍋に入れ、火をつけて出汁を取る。その後、カニの足から身を取り出し、シャブシャブ風に調理する。その後に野菜などを加え、柔らかく火が通った野菜を美味しい出汁で食べる。最後に雑炊で仕上げる。出汁が効いた卵を溶かした雑炊は本当に美味しい。
The head chef was also a friendly and pleasant person.
I was able to enjoy the winter specialties in Kitakyushu, Hyogo Prefecture, and it was a happy experience.
